Let's not add in sub-franchises to this article. It does nothing but bloat the article without adding anything useful. For instance, Mega Man covers the original series as well as X, Zero, EXE, etc. perfectly fine; we don't need to go into more detail on it. -- LGagnon 20:44, August 1, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Show number of installments in list

Wouldn't it be nice to show the number of installments in the list? Would be a nice way for researchers to get a quick idea of which ones are the more extensive franchises. I'll happily do the work, but of course this will need to be kept up to date. -- 195.80.238.2

And that is why we shouldn't do so. It's too much work with too little gain. The individual articles can keep track of this info better than this one can. -- LGagnon 20:54, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
