[edit] Expanding to include colleges?

We could massively expand this list if we were to include colleges (in the U.S. sense) and not just universities. For example, we could include Russell Sage College, Dickinson College, Amherst College, and a whole slew of others. Should we add them in here, or should we make a separate list? -- Beginning 02:06, August 30, 2005 (UTC)

I have moved the page to List of colleges and universities named after people. If it is inappropriate , you can revert to the former edit. Maybe List of academic institutions named after people might sound more proper. LordGulliverofGalben

[edit] Breaking up list

This is now quite a long list. Should we consider breaking it up by region or continent/country? Wl219 04:20, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
