Talk:List of caves in Slovakia

But, Tankred, the fact that a cave is not generally "blocked" for the public, does not mean that it is "open to the public". Most of the 2 500 caves are probably "open" in "your" sense. Open to the public means that there are regular guided visits for the general public there. Is that the case for that cave ? I suppose not, I know people who have been there, but that was as a group of "friends od nature/bats" or so. Juro 18:37, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I am sorry for not being clear. The cave is really open to the public and all visits are actually guided. The only difference is that the cave is well preserved (i.e. you will not find much concrete there). That is why visitors get helmets at the entrance. But they are not expected to be speleologists. In fact, anyone can visit the cave, if he or she is willing to pay a slightly higher price than in the case of the caves administered by the Slovak Caves Administration.Tankred 18:52, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
