[edit] Operation Rebirth

Everytime I looked at this episode, I kept finding more and more stuff in it - its really the prototypical onion with multiple layers and meanings - and believe me, I could have easily doubled up on this (example: did anyone notice the bully was wearing red, white, & blue? And that he had a star on his chest just like Captain America did? Or that the "POW camp" had railroad tracks leading into it? The writers really went to town with all the hidden meanings). I know I put too much into the description and it needs to be pared down - but could someone make a separate page for this episode like they had with some of the others? I think it should have its own page, both because the Captain America episode was regarded as something special within Film Roman, and because there is so much content in the episode, forshadowing the season finale and the rest of the series on a thematic level.

I do intend to sooner or later, but when I do so I like to do it in one hit so I don't lose my train of thought. And these pages take a long while to write up; The Stuff of Villains took me over an hour straight. I will get down to it when I can, unless there are any volunteers? Dac 12:16, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
