Talk:List of Warriors characters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Please do not delete the link for the article called "Firestar." That is a genuine article about the character in Warriors. Thank you. --SapphireSprite 23:10, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- The link to Firestar's page doesn't need to be in the See Also links section as the link can be found right in Firestar's description.

- There doesn't need to be such big spaces between the characters. I deleted the larger spaces and brought it down to smaller spaces. I would also like to know the purpose of the article Firestar - the text is the exact same as in this article.

- I have no idea why the big spaces are there in the first place...and the Firestar article used to be different from the text in this article, but I don't know what happened. SapphireSprite 01:55, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- As for the big spaces, they were there to spread out the text to make it easier to read. It looks very cluttered otherwise. Oh, and with the information on Firestar's page, there used to be a long unfinished summary of Into the Wild, which I had written up, but I thought it was focusing more on the book than Firestar, so I deleted it. I still have it saved in my computer though, it's just not here on Wikipedia.

Just a thought - For the Graystripe article (the seperate one), should we not say which book he is coming back in??? Sunset7611 18:53, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, but no one but the authors know which book that is. So, there's nothing we can write... TakaraLioness 20:41, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Double Entries
In this article, a few cats (Mistyfoot, Onestar...) have two entries, both in the first series' characters and the second's. Is that really needed? I was wondering if we should just have new cats to the series listed in The New Prophecy section (I'm not sure if that would include Ashfur and Sorreltail or not though. They were present in the first series). The returning characters already have info from the new series in their other spaces, so the second spots seem uneeded. TakaraLioness 05:48, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, that was probably mostly my fault in the merge. Just merge the information into the above sections, and we're good. DoomsDay349 23:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ah. 'Kay. I will.

[edit] Please stop
Please stop adding speculation about Ashfur. It is all speculation, and it is unverified. The article is in bad shape as is. DoomsDay349 23:26, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'm so glad I'm not the only one noticing it... All that we can really say is that Birchpaw told Firestar to go to the ShadowClan border, nothing else. There's no proof that Ashfur even told Birchpaw to go get Firestar, let alone proof that he tried to get his leader killed...

[edit] Mistyfoot's Apprentices
I keep deleting that she mentored Silverstream, I'd like to piont out that they were just close friends that's it. Silverstream's mentor was an unmentioned cat named Loudbelly if you look in Fire And Ice it says that Loudbelly has an apprentice called Silverpaw and continues to for the next few books, that's just a typo because she can't have been Siverpaw and Silverstream at the same time and the same thing happened to a ShadowClan cat Smokepaw pages 278-279 of Dawn (Hardcover) it describes his death. But from Starlight to Sunset he is still listed as Oakfur's apprentice. My point is please stop adding Silversteam as Mistyfoot's apprentice it's false infromation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.71.43.92 (talk) 23:42, 13 February 2007
- Alright, but I swear Silverstream was Mistyfoot's apprentice... I'll look for it in the books, and sign your posts if you're gonna write something here...
- TakaraLioness 23:53, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I recall nothing about Silverstream being Mistyfoot's apprentice. I was under the impression they were roughly the same generation of cats. DoomsDay349 00:18, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm.. Well, okay. I dunno why I keep thinking that she was...

[edit] Smudge feels left out...;( (Gah, accidently posted this under the Warriors general area...)
Hey, I may be wrong, but I checked a few times...there doesn't appear to be any mention of Firestar's kittypet friend, Smudge. ;( Can someone please repair this? I accidently posted this under the Warriors Series main page. Woops. Hunter076 23:56, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- He's kinda metioned in Cody's section. I suppose he could get his own section. I'll add it.
- TakaraLioness 00:56, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Ah, thank you very much.Hunter076 03:16, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I kinda mispelled "mistrusted" but someone caught the typo...

[edit] The Sight
Why did you delete my comments about hollypaw and jaypaw? they are true and i got them from a site that YOU linked me to. It was an offical, yet early review-Oakclaw
- Er. That who linked you to? Either way, sign your posts... Reasons for info being deleted from the kits' sections are most likely linked to the fact that spoilers like those (like Jaypaw's disability) should NOT be added here until the book's been released to the public. So, just wait until it's out, THEN you can add them back.
- TakaraLioness 19:38, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
You as in Wikipedia-Oakclaw
- Erm.. Okay, but either way, all spoilers like that should be kept off of the articles until the book is released.

[edit] Stop Making Assuptions
Somebody keeps guessing about people's mates, kits, and other stuff. Longtail is not Frostfur's mate. Goldenflower is also not Swiftpaw's mother. Who put that Whitepaw was Whitewing? Sunspot13 22:16, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- A whole bunch of IPs are making those edits. Every day I come here and someone has added unreliable info. Just keep watching and they will show up sooner or later. —Darkest Hour 15:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thinks this. Someone sent me a letter about editing it and said that if I did it again I would be blocked or something! Sunspot13 23:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry; a good deal of the time people mistake Wikipedia for a fansite or some other nonsense. Continue what you're doing, and don't be afraid to be bold. DoomsDay349 23:48, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes I agree Wikipedia is not a fansite. But two things who exactly did the review for The Sight because maybe someone who did put Whitepaw as Whitewing. And if you look in A Dangerous Path just after Fireheart brings Swiftpaw's body back to camp it says something like a wail went up from the nursery as Goldenflower raced out to her dead son and Tawnykit and Bramblekit stared at their dead half-brother with scared eyes..
