[edit] Images?

Does anyone else think that images of select characters (i.e. Lenneth, Arngrim, Alicia, etc.) should be added to this article? Seth0708 20:34, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Silmeria

You can actually catch a glimpse of her in Brahm's castle after you fight him. I think. Someone check it out. This game had awesome music too! 128.6.175.40 12:50, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

It's true. Silmeria is in the original VP.

'However, you catch a glimpse of her BEFORE fighting Brahms, but after chosing to fight him. It's a minor detail, but important nonetheless considering you can't see her or her portrait if you 'Pause to reconsider'.

[edit] Future Games?

Should this article cover future games aswell? The PSP VP port could add new characters, and Silmeria is going to have new characters of its own. Claude 07:51, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

It would be best to leave that alone for the time being. To my understanding, the PSP VP port isn't adding anything new to the game beyond some FMV cutscenes, and information on VP: Silmeria should wait until there's more solid information.4.242.21.132 08:19, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
I Think it would be better to make an aarticel for each game, esspecially because the series features such a great cast.
I actually started adding entries for characters from the sequel on to the current page, both because the list already had information from both games and because there is a good deal of crossover between the games. Seth0708 22:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Voice Actor/Seiyuu Name

Would it be a good idea to include names of the actors who voiced the characters during the cutscenes? Ominae 12:59, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

I would think if you have them, that would be a good thing to add. Seth0708 15:45, 22 November 2006
I think it's a good thing to include too, and I think I will get to doing it. Would boxes like this be OK:
Japanese Cast English Cast (VP) English Cast (VP2)
Takehito Koyasu Maddie Blaustein Liam O'Brien
I think I will put up these at the top of each character section. --EmperorBrandon 00:44, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
I think the change looks nice and is informative, the boxes do seem to be a good move. Seth0708 01:15, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Llewelyn the worst character?

24.67.132.253 says: biased nothing, this is widely accepted fact... he has the worst stats in the game, along with the worst equips, and an abysmal hero value)

I disagree. It is biased and POV. It is near impossible to prove Llewelyn is the worst character in the game objectively. On those points mentioned,

  • His starting stats are almost exactly the same as Janus's and quite a few warriors (though lower in DME in those cases). His stat growth is also no different from Janus and Badrach.
  • His equips are no different from Janus and Badrach.
  • That's true, but Badrach's hero value is also abysmal.

And to add to that, his PWS special is far from being the worst. It's one of the best if it gets a lot of hits in and still not the worst (that honor belongs to Grey) even if it doesn't get all of it's hits in. His attacks are unique, so it makes it hard to objectively say they're the worst. In that regard, one of his regular attacks is unblockable (a rarity in the game and quite useful). Like other archers, he hits more times than many light and heavy warriors, which could mean more gems or crystals (some could see this as an advantage).

Not only is it a sketchy matter to prove, I also don't think it is worthy of mentioning in this article in the first place. --EmperorBrandon 17:04, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
