[edit] I sniff subspecies

My assertion at the top of the article that Taylor's 114 214 species are generally accepted is somewhat belied by the list that follows it. I can't count to save my life but after several attempts I strongly suspect we are somewhere between five and twenty species over par. And isn't U. macrorhiza (one of the pictured species) just a ssp of U. vulgaris?

I'm driving down to Bristol tomorrow, and I hope to have time to pop into the library and consult Taylor's list. If no-one manages a more urgent correction, I'll be back brandishing it :-) ~ VeledanTalk + new 22:59, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
