[edit] Long Service

This list is supposed be current and historical units of the USAF according to the intro. How do we want to handle information about squadrons that span the entire period, flew many a/c, and were stationed at many bases? For instance, the 510th FS had no a/c info so I added the P-47 they flew in WWII, but I think they flew A-10 and F-16 later. I'm thinking that perhaps we want the most recent a/c the squadron is flying/flew, and let the previous a/c be on the squadron article, if any. I also added the 509th and 511th, which I'm fairly sure have post WWII existance, but I have no details, so I added the WWII info.

[edit] "Closed"?

Does "closed" mean "inactive"?

[edit] Air Control Squadrons

I think that the list is missing the 128 ACS out of Camp Douglas, WI.

[edit] Communications Squadrons

Not one Comm squadron is listed... considering I was part of three of them... i find it odd. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.137.232.93 (talk) 01:49, 18 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] SAC / POMO Squadrons

What about the SAC squadrons (Avionics Maintenance Squadron / Organizational Maintenance Squadron / Field Maintenance Squadrons / etc...) during the age of POMO? Speaking of AGE (Aerospace Ground Equipment)...:-). - NDCompuGeek 16:52, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
