We need some more sections to add more videos, with possible candidates including "event videos" (for conventions such as PAX, special audiences such as the Barenaked Ladies videos), "DVD only" (Custom Videos/"Just for You" from the Season 4 DVD), "magazines" (EGM, CGW), or we can just work them into the list of specials, since I'm not entirely sure of the categorizing process or qualifications for videos here. Because some of these 'full names' are based on opinion (ex. neither the main site or machinima.com use titles such as "The PDC Video: Hey, Time Out" or "New York City Film Festival Video 2004: Real Life Vs. Internet," these titles are opinionated as the video and sites only name these videos as 'PSA #4 hey, time out' and 'Vive la Resolution.'

Note that in most of the videos the titles are not capitalized, so if you disassociated other possible titles such as RvB_The Microsoft PDC Video_LoRes then you are projecting your titles as superior. PatPeter 03:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Filenames are not titles. We should be using the titles that Rooster Teeth uses in their video archive or in the video itself. Title case is fine because they are not insistent on lowercase letters as part of the title; the video archive lists titles in that fashion. If the titles are incorrect (which is a possibility), feel free to fix them according to what the video or archive says, but adding filenames as alternate "titles" isn't the way to go. — TKD::Talk 04:54, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

It confuses the reader? Does it now? What if someone wanted to know the real title to a file and they know nothing except the filename? Keep in mind that not all RvB episodes tell what episode it is at the beginning, especially these special ones. Adding these file names makes it easier for the reader. The point is that a filename isn't an inherent property of the video, and to mention it implies that it does have intended significance; rather, it's more of a trivial artifact of thestorage medium that is almost never used in actual reference in writing. If viewed on the DVD, for example, or at the special live events, the filename is irrelevant. If the brief summary provided below isn't adequate to identify the video, then the summary needs to be improved, but that's a different problem that's not solved by facts that most people would consider trivia. RvB_NYC isn't any more encyclopedically useful than noting that the Halo: Combat Evolved map "Chiron TL 34" is actually "putput" on disk in the PC version. — TKD::Talk 02:47, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

The list here is composed by Rooster Teeth's count, not machinima.com's. As such, the Wild Wild Web video is listed as Special 4: Real life vs. The Internet. I changed it back, and moved the Tax Day video back to its place as PSA 9 7 (looks like you moved it from 7 to 8 t 9 then to 16, I got confused -- Viewdrix 18:23, 11 February 2007 (UTC)), when I added the new Gadgets PSA. -- Viewdrix 18:18, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Ok, the PSA's DON'T GIVE the number so you are incorrect. There are a number of sites that agree with the way I counted them, and I will edit them according to that, machinima and Red vs Blue Trascripts-23_PatPeter*∞ 23:01, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Those sites are not official, though, and I know for certain that transcripts at roostertooths.com are done by one person. In one person's opinion vs. Rooster Teeth's official listings, I'm following Rooster Teeth. I've further addressed this below. -- Viewdrix 01:17, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok, when you download the holiday video from Red vs. Blue.com it says that it is a PSA in the title, thus is is a PSA. PSAs all share a common format where they begin with a dialogue between two characters directed towards you. Thus RvB Planning to Fail is a Special, not a PSA. Tax Day tips seems like a holiday special video, does it share the format of a PSA? -23_PatPeter*∞ 23:14, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

The holiday video was originally released on the Xbox 360 Marketplace, and thus was placed as a Bungie episode. Bungie episodes can still be available on the main site eventually, but as they were made for Bungie originally, they count as Bungie episodes. It states specifically on the page that some specials follow the format of a PSA and some PSAs may follow the format of a special. Furthermore, Specials tend to include PSA's made for events before the website release and special non-continuity episodes where they don't address the audience. However, this is all loose, and is based on the official Rooster Teeth organization and listings. Rooster Teeth are not adding the videos to Machinima.com, and people can add a video there and number the episode however they want. It's not official. For example, the video "Tax Day Tips" is linked as "PSA Tax Day" in the archives, despite the characters not addressing the audience. I'm reverting your edits. -- Viewdrix 01:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

You failed to give any links to prove yor statements, which for all we know may not be true and your opinion (are you a sponsor?).

Some PSA's follow format of specials and vice versa? Please. Spare me your corruption of definitions. Here, do I have to define why we label these episodes the way we label them to you? We label them for a reason, and that is to diferentiate them from each other, if a PSA can be a special, and a special a PSA do they have any difference? Why don't we put all of them together and call them "Non-Main Steam Episodes" ... or "Public Special Sometimes Service Announcement Episodes" (If you couldn't tell that was sarcasm.) -23_PatPeter*∞ 01:46, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I am in fact a sponsor. I use the same "Viewdrix" name on redvsblue.com if you want to check. Look, here's my point: machinima.com did not make the episodes. We didn't make the episodes. Rooster Teeth Productions did make the episodes. And when I go to their archives -- which, again, as a sponsor, I can access (heck, I'll take a screenshot if you demand it) -- they have labeled videos they consider PSA's as PSA's. The PDC Video is labeled a PSA. Tax Day is labeled a PSA. Real Life vs the Internet (aka NYC Festival video) is not labeled a PSA, however, and thus must be a special. The Xbox Live Marketplace Christmas video was originally made for the Marketplace, and thus is a video made originally for Bungie, and thus qualifies as a Bungie video as explained in that section of this article, and is a Bungie video whether or not it came out on the redvsblue.com site. In fact, Burnie Burns was unsure in a journal it would even be on the website since the jokes in the video were meant to be seen on a 360. So please please please, it's just not up to us to decide whether Rooster Teeth is too inconsistent. They labeled their own videos, and as the creators, they have priority over any other listings. It is near impossible to figure out the original release dates. However, earlier PSAs and such are numbered in the video archives, while later ones are added to the archive in order. -- Viewdrix 01:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
