[edit] Little Mac's SSBM trophy

Why did somebody take down the part about Little Mac's trophy was gonna be in Super Smash Bros. Melee?

[edit] Quibble

Doc Louis redirects here, but there's absolutely nothing on him. This ain't right... --Shadow Hog 13:43, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah he stole the bike —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.249.67.243 (talk • contribs).
I meant beyond YTMND fads. There was a whole bunch of information on him, but it was all taken down in favor of redirects that have nothing to do with him. -Shadow Hog 14:32, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Quite odd, at the least.... The page we're discussing sounds more like a strategy guide rather than a Wikipedia page. --Uzzo2 05:12, 28 August 2006 (UTC) 05:20, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree. This isn't Gamefaqs. Why is this page even here?

I know, lol. --Uzzo2 05:12, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! was right up there with Mario and Zelda as one of the most popular games of the 80s. Many of these characters appear in several games and other media, so they do deserve a spot on Wikipedia. Especially with thousands of Wiki entries on modern video game characters that have only appeared in a single game with very little or no pop-culture relevance. Many people have edited this page, so I can clean it up to make it sound less like a strategy guide; however describing the fighting styles of each boxer is probably the most important info that can be provided about each of these characters, so it should be included. Great --Uzzo2 22:09, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Reverted from the ruthless edit done last week and cleaned up the article myself, removing unnessescary "gameFAQs" like info, but leaving some describing the characters movesets. Also added links to each character and the requested profile on Doc Louis. Pretzolio@yahoo.com 23:13, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Heh heh heh... Someone mistook a joke on I-mockery for an actual screenshot. Someone should kill that doc louis image.--Dwedit 08:15, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Which image?! Thanks for clearing up the strategy guide-esque info, Pretzolio. However, nicknames, a plethora of useless adjectives, and random mentions of the game's players make the article seem rather terribly cheesy. I will leave some information intact, however, I will omit the little cheese sprinkled throughout the article --Uzzo2 23:58, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Doc Louis in Wii Sports

The "boxing trainer Mii" in the boxing-related Wii Sports training games bears a very deliberate resemblance to old Doc Louis. Someone care to mention that, with a more encyclopedic phrasing? --210.49.99.248 14:47, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
