[edit] Sucre

It was revealed in the latest episode that Sucre was robbing the store alone to get money for an engagement ring, as oppose to robbing it with his friends.

It was also shown that Hector called the police.

I thought that Sucre was sentenced to only five years not seventeen...?--Chaos Ninja 23:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Michael Scofield Wiki Page

There is a separate page for the character of Michael Scofield. It may have some redundant information. That information could be merged here, although that would make Michael have a lot more information than any other character. For now, I've just added a link at the bottom of his profile to his page. -- Simpatico 09:04, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

A lot of it is the exact same information. I think we can limit Michael's bio on this page to just a few sentences then add everything else to his own page. Jtrost 18:05, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Sounds good to me. :) -- Simpatico 05:12, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
My opinion is that there shouldn't really be a Michael Scofield page, and that the info should be merged here. If the information becomes too widespread, it becomes more difficult to locate and utilize that information. --Dogbreathcanada 08:35, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
That would be more efficient. However, we have more information on Michael's character than any other character, and it would be odd to have a relatively large, in-depth bio on him while the others have merely a paragraph. —simpatico hi 09:13, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
He is the main character, the focus of the show. Why should it be otherwise? And information on the other characters can certainly be added as the show progresses. --Dogbreathcanada 09:30, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Nevermind. I see your point. And the addition of the "main page" link is more than enough. I withdraw my original argument. --Dogbreathcanada 09:40, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Conspiracy Members

Kellerman and Hale operated from different perspectives. Kellerman had obvious sold himself to the V.P., while Hale was uncomfortable from the beginning. Hale finally was willing to crack and either reveal the conspiracy, die trying, or just walk away from it. He tried to the the right thing in the end by giving the evidence needed to exonerate Lincoln, but was murdered by Kellerman for that attempt.

I do not think his death was in vain. Lincoln's defense team has a lot more evidence now, and a reporter on their side. That means Schofield's prison break plan, which originally had no time for error, now has bought more time.

The entry for Brinker suggests that she works for "a company", when in fact she almost definitely works for "The Company", AKA the CIA. (Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA or any other reference on the CIA for this) The entry makes it seem that Brinker is a civilian, when she is almost definitely not.

Lincoln's father said it was a group of multinationals referred to as "The Company" meaning it's not CIA.

Nick's status as an outside supporter is now questionable given he's taking orders from Abruzzi. While he has worked on Lincoln's case, his main job seems to be keeping tabs on Veronica. He knows about the planned breakout and it's his job to make sure Veronica is with him at the airport during the escape (as seen in "The Key").

[edit] Guest Characters

Should we have a section for guest stars and short-lived characters? These characters should be crucial to the development of the plot in some way. I'm only on episode three, but I'm specifically thinking of the Leticia Barris character, for instance. --Dogbreathcanada 08:35, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Haywire, for instance? We may need the show to have been on the air longer before we do this, but it's a good idea. —simpatico hi 09:12, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
The show to have been on longer? I'm not suggesting a new Wiki page, simply a new section to this page. A sentence or two about each guest character would be sufficient, along with the episode(s) they appeared in. --Dogbreathcanada 09:32, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
I added the section as a concrete example. You can remove if you want, though I think it would be valuable to expand upon it as the show continues. --Dogbreathcanada 09:39, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
No, it's good, although I would change the title - "The Missing and the Dead" is too exclusive. I guess I couldn't think of many characters to add but now I'm thinking of them: I'd put Quinn, Nika, Lisa Rix & Stepdad, CO Louis (although he may be better in Prison Staff, he's around a lot), CO Bob, Philly, Haywire, Maricruz, etc in this category. Most of them wouldn't need more than a sentence or two and which episodes they appeared in. It could be a bulleted list. —simpatico hi 09:57, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
If you can think of a better title for the section, go with it. That was the best I could come up with and I wasn't satisfied with it. As I said, I haven't got through all 13 eps yet. --Dogbreathcanada 10:29, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lincoln and Michael's Father

I wanted to add Michael and Lincoln's father to the list of "outside supporters", especially after the events of "The Key", unfortunately I can't find anything to put for a name other than the implied first name Burrows. Anyone know what it might be?--T smitts 21:56, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

He has no known first name, though Burrows is his last name. Some boards refer to him as spydaddy. Why not just call him Mr. Burrows for the time being?

[edit] Westmoreland.

From the article: Westmoreland is one of Fox River's longest-serving inmates, having served twenty-eight years. However, in episode 8, when Michael approaches him about burning down the CO break room, Westmoreland says "I've made it a point to keep my nose clean ever since I got here, thirty-two years without a single incident", or something along those lines, the "thirty-two years" was definitely in there. Where was it said that he's been in Fox River 28 years? 88.155.23.213 14:28, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I also remember Charles Westmoreland say that he and his father share the same name, Charles Westmoreland. I remember that after saying this, Jr. says that his father is D.B. Cooper.

[edit] Reformatting

I reformatted the page after I noticed many of biographies of the main characters were getting longer. By creating separate pages for them, it makes it more managable. However, if anyone disapproves of the current format, they can change it. Ladida 14:51, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Westmoreland's "death"

We don't know that Westmoreland is dead. He did, after call, collapse in the infirmary. I suggest we wait until it is confirmed before he is moved to the "Deceased Characters" section. Juansmith 08:34, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

I agree. The last time we saw Westmoreland he was very much alive. If he is to die in the season finale (not yet aired) then his placement in "Deceased Characters" should be considered a spoiler and should be marked as such. Flower.

Both Hale and Nick are presumed dead. I've read that Nick can go either way - the actor has done a pilot which, if picked up, means the end of Nick. If it isn't picked up, Nick lives. There is some speculation that Hale isn't dead either.

[edit] "Deceased Characters"/Bottom of the page

The "deceased characters" section appears a bit messed up to me... Seth's picture appears underneath the text of his mini-bio, and the whole section appears below "References" and "External Links". Is anyone else seeing this? Could someone who knows more about Wikipedia table formatting do something about this? Juansmith 08:34, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I wanted to just find out if any one would have any objections to putting an spoiler tag for the deceased characters. I know there is one at the top but I think it might be worthing as its a particularly touchy area for people who maybe one or two episodes behind. Lummie 15:48, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

I was wondering if this section should be removed. Some characters' deaths are not confirmed and if they are deceased, this can be added into their info.Ladida 01:39, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I think that is a good idea. Plus I don't know think much is gained by placing people into the deceased category. Putting them in amongst who they were seems more useful. Lummie 03:25, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. Sara and Nick are both in bad shape, but neither is confirmed dead.
  • Since someone added the deceased characters back, I think I should just wait until everyone agrees to have it removed. Sigh. It is hard to classify characters as dead or otherwise because it is after all TV and they sometimes just presumably kill the characters when they haven't. I have checked other characters page in other tv shows and they generally don't have a deceased character section, they just state it in the corresponding character's information. Ladida 13:49, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Dr. Sara Tancredi is not confirmed to be dead; it seems more appropriate to have her in the Prison Staff section. (151.205.187.131)

[edit] Removal of Deceased characters

I would like to gauge whether it is worth removing the category of deceased characters. The reason I feel is that it is too much of a spoiler even if you avoid it. For many people who might not be up to date with the current episode, the fact that the characters profile doesn't appear will either lead to look further down the list or even assume that the character is dead. Much to my annoyance I couldn't find Westmoreland and looking I by accident came across him in the deceased characters. I understand its a bit easier to place dead characters in one category but I feel it is too much of a spoiler despite the warning at the start. Lummie 14:01, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I agree with you. I will edit it now since the only people who seems to disagree are people who doesn't participate on this page or take notice of the discrepancies of having such a section. As Lummie said, it is more useful to place the characters in their corresponding group like "Conspiracy Members". It identifies them. Anyone who disagrees should state their reason here.Ladida 02:13, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I actually like the current format of Inmates, Prison Staff, Conspiracy Members, and Minor Characters, with the individual pages giving their current role (inmate, POTUS, Warden, etc.) and status (dead, overdosed, presumed dead, escaped, incarcerated, etc.). However, I'm open to a different grouping in the future if events play out where these roles are more problematic (for example, the break team who are still on the loose could be classified as Fugitives, while the prison staff can be merged with inmates into Fox River inmates and staff, and a new category of Fugitive Hunters created who are not a part of the conspiracy, but are chasing the fugitives because it's their job or they are after reward money.)

[edit] Season 2 - reformatting

  • I have rearranged the list so it becomes more suitable for the end of season 1 and season 2. The current arrangement was suggested above in the "Removal of Deceased characters" section. If anyone else has any other ideas, please state them here when you do alter the page. This avoids editing conflicts and prevents others from undoing your changes. -- Ladida 03:25, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
    • As I originally suggested new classifications based on fugitive status / hunters, I agree with the changes. I also like The Fox River Eight for the break team. However, I'm still open to new classifications if the status changes among the characters. As a thriller / drama, and with lots of characters having their own agendas, things change.

[edit] Excessive minor characters

There has been recent additions to the list of characters page, particularly minor characters. Although they are very informative, this page is to provide an overview of characters that have significant roles in the TV series. I agree with User:T smitts' actions in removing the excessive minor C.O.'s characters descriptions, "We don't need EVERY C.O. whose ever been on the show." -- Ladida 02:36, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

I only added those Charicters because they appered in alot of episodes. Example Mac Brandt appers in 16 episodes and Mark Morettini appeard in 10 episodes which is more episodes than what some charicters listed have appeared in. -- User:DanDud88 30 July 2006.
Now that we are going into Season 2, the minor characters (prisoners and guards especially) are even less significant. All these characters are just cluttering the page. Even if they were in several episodes, they don't warrant the use of so much space. One line at at most. I say they should be removed. Especially since there will definitely be more major and minor characters coming with the new Season. -- [Jo] 7 August 2006
That's unfair the Psych ward orderly is listed and he only appeared in 2 episodes. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by DanDud88 (talkcontribs) 10:00, 8 August 2006.

Since the page was getting cluttered, I reduced the images' size and characters' descriptions, especially for those who have their own pages. This page is beginning to get out of hand with all the additions of minor characters. Only notable characters should be added and by "notable", I mean characters that have a significant contribution to the storyline; not just the number of episodes since an extra can appear in a couple of episodes but that does not make their part "notable". -- Ladida 08:43, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Removed characters:

C.O. Rizo None None Very minor scenes with prison staff and inmates
Sklar None None Very minor scenes with Michael
President Richard Mills None None Very minor scenes with Caroline Reynolds
Becky None None Scenes with Pope
Nurse Katie Welch None None Scenes with Sara

Please state your reason before adding them back or they will be deleted as per the reasons above. We must reach a consensus about the standard of this article since there will be more character additions when the second season starts. Ladida 00:02, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm assuming that the character of Dr. Marvin Gudat doesn't meet the requirements, so I wont add unless supported by the other users. He probably will have 0 interaction with Michael Scofield, Lincoln Burrows, and the Conspiracy. Siyavash 04:59, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, those are just guidelines as to whether a character should be added. However, if the role of Dr. Marvin Gudat does expand so much so that he becomes an important part of the storyline or other subplots, then he should be added. Regards, Ladida 08:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

I think Katie Welch should be on the page. If you can dd the other COs on there, you should add her, she has appeared enough.

I agree. --T smitts 22:15, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
I've added Nurse Katie back on. What about C.O. Stolte, do you think he should be there? -- Ladida 23:36, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

- I don't know if all those C.O.s deserve mention, but i do think that Geary definatley does. A few of those characters who haven't had direct impact on Michael often have had some very great indirect impact on Michael / other characters storylines (President Mills / Avacado most specifically), if it wasn't for Avacado molesting Tweener Bellick would have never found out about the hole, they would have had more time to escape, Westmoreland wouldn't have died, the ohters wouldn't have found out about the money etc. And if Mills hadn't chosen Reynolds as his running mate, Burrows would have never being framed in the first place, and if he hadn't told Reynolds he planned on revoking his endorsement, Reynolds probably wouldn't have being motivated to murder him. Also, Mills death probably overshadowed the escape of the FOX 8 in the Media which hlepted them escape - Ethan716

Yes, I understand what you mean. However, every character introduced to the show are meant to have some sort of impact on the storyline. I think this article should be reserved for characters who impact on the main characters or the main storyline "directly". -- Ladida 03:41, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
I suggest Agent William Kim be considered for his own page. He's really running the show with Mahone and Kellerman, including authorization of Kellerman's erasure. That's a very signifigant act as it changes Kellerman's story considerably. Jclinard 21:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

If all these minor characters are going to be kept, then I suggest updating the picture for "Avocado" because I didn't even recognize him from the picture. I think one of the pictures of him in the cell from this site would be more recognizable: http://avocado.over-blog.com/ (but I don't know about copyrights if that's ok). Robk6364 00:14, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Who plays Agent Foley?

Who plays Agent Foley? Siyavash 19:03, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

I think it's Katherine Willis - she was mentioned as a guest star. -- Ladida 02:12, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deceased mention in character profile only

Can I suggest again to only having the deceased mention for characters in the small profile on them. I understand there is a spoiler tag but I think the mention of whether they are dead should not be right under their picture. Mainly so that people who are perhaps not up to date will not immediately notice the mention. Lummie 00:58, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree.Puppet125 01:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Then what is the point of the spoiler tag? --T smitts 09:10, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
I've removed all the status information from the characters since someone put in "captured" under Tweener. This is to prevent other status additions. I did this because the main purpose of this page is to provide information on who that character is - not are they dead. Their status is mentioned in their individual pages and for some, in their description in this article. The spoiler tag is really for the character developments although I do see that point. However, I think we made an agreement a few months ago that the status should not be mentioned under the names of the characters but rather in their individual articles and if they do not have that, then in their descriptions in this article. This is just to ensure that this article does hopefully conform to some encyclopaedic standard. -- Ladida 13:26, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nika's status

I think we need to change Nika's status from ally of Michael to some other category. Siyavash 01:53, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Where does it say that? In this article, she is listed under "associates of..." section, which is for characters who are associated with the fugitives. In the character's article, her status isn't stated. Regards, Ladida 08:06, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. Hector, for instanace, is no friend to Sucre, or anyone else in the "Fox River 8" for that matter but he is asssoiciated with one of them nonetheless.--T smitts 09:12, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tense Agreement

There has to be tense agreement within the bios. That's all... --AstoVidatu 23:59, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ordering

I've reordered the list of secondary characters in alphabetical order in their respective sections. I would have also liked to reorder the main characters in alphabetical order, however, I wasn't sure if people would prefer Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows to remain at the top of the list. Anyway, it would be better to order the characters list in alphabetical order, so that it's not always reordered and it is easier to locate the characters that way. I noticed people reorder the list due to current relevance or importance but that's subjective, thus let's leave it in a stable order. Should we order the main characters in alphabetical order to maintain consistency? -- Ladida 06:59, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

This entire list is reordered. Most "list of characters" pages are ordered alphabetically. It allows the reader to search for the character easily and prevents POV issues. -- Ladida 13:39, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Secondary characters

I've merged some of the minor characters' articles into this article because some of them just don't deserve their own article (yet) due to notability reasons. To make it more readable I reformatted the page. I haven't filled in the episodes that those characters appeared in, maybe somebody can do it. Since these characters don't appear in every episode (I know some main characters don't either), it may be more interesting to put down the episodes they appear in.

When writing about these characters, try to adhere to Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction). Please write about the character, the actor who portrays the character, and behind the scenes with references etc. and refrain from writing about the series' plot. -- Ladida 13:26, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Season One

Ok, now, I've gone though the list of people. But, there was no... well, I forgot his name, but, in season one, he helped Donovan and he died with a gunshot. Ya know? he told Donovan to take out the bullet before they enter the hospital or else the police will get involved. well, if you know him, please post him up... Michael Houang 03:36, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

His name is Nick Savrinn. He is listed under the heading "Allies of the fugitives". -- Ladida 03:52, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fox river inmates

Someone needs to fix the vandalism on the Fox river inmates section. I wouldn't dare since I don't know how to fix it without ruining even more. --Count Zar 00:15, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Episode Count

Is there any specific reason for removing the episode count feature in the infobox in individual characters. I thought that was a nice unique thing to have EARONHASE 11:01, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Firstly, I removed them because I am trying to keep the template consistent with the other Wikipedia character templates. Secondly, I am personally getting tired of updating it every week or checking to see if each one is updated. Thirdly, these numbers have no encyclopaedic value compared to the rest of the article. Thus, the parameter has been changed to "Season" instead. Regards, Ladida 06:07, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Characters' articles

I've recently restructured Alexander Mahone's article to follow other fictional character articles which are either of a good or featured article status. I was wondering if there is anyone who could help me revamp all the other Prison Break characters article; mainly to reduce the "Appearances" section which should be brief. -- Ladida 06:08, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Different format

Since this article is supposed to be a list, I thought it should look like all the lists in Wikipedia. Also, this allows the addition of all the minor characters in the series. Larger descriptions of recurring characters (which do not warrant their own individual article) can go into a separate article called "Minor characters in Prison Break" or something. Another reason for proposing this is because these characters are hard to put into specific groups (sections) since some of their roles continue to change. Regards, Ladida 12:05, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Minor characters' descriptions can be placed in List of Prison Break minor characters. -- Ladida 07:38, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
