[edit] Small info

Shouldn't it be noted that the Johto Pokedex doesn't actually use numbers? In GSC, it was refered to as a Pokedex "by evolution" and ordered them as such, and by how common they were mostly. DanPMK 15:14, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

This page actually used to be at "List of Pokémon by Johto Pokédex". I still like that title better, since as you say there are no numbers in the Johto 'dex, but I didn't feel like getting into an argument over it. --Sparky Lurkdragon 17:05, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sortable list

I thought I should point out that new Wikipedia technology could practically and unupsettingly make this article obsolete. MediaWiki has introduced the ability to make lists sortable. This would mean that we could basically merge the lists of Pokémon by name, stage, National Dex, Johto Dex, Hoenn Dex, and Sinnoh Dex all into one sortable list.

Recall a while ago that some people wanted to delete most of these list articles because there were just so many of them, but the main argument against that was that each needed to be sorted separately. But now that lists can be sorted by the viewers, all these problems can easily be solved!

Well, actually, there are still a few bugs to be worked out. See the discussion at the Pokémon Collaborative Project's talk page if you want to see a few samples and discuss this. --Brandon Dilbeck 20:02, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
