  • ProfessorLlama: Thanks to everyone who has helped contribute to and update this page. However, please note a few guidelines for its format: 1) This page's sole purpose is to list the video game or news feature on the cover, and is not intended to reflect the title of the story or any other games or news features appearing on the cover; 2)Please make sure that your counts for cover appearances are accurate and that any statistics or trivial facts you put there are verifiable. In fact, we should be citing info like the percentage of each cover for #92 that are available; 3) For any changes you make or would like to see, please post them here instead writing them within arrows inside the article's text box. Thank you.
I take that was intended toward me. It's not a "news story", it's what the cover actually reads. If it just has a pink splotch on it, would you write "Pink Splotch"? The reason that is only because pre-2005, the actual game was written out. It's a highly debatable topic, but there are no real guidelines. Oh, wait, you CREATED the page? Dang, I thought it was just some anonymous grunt stirring up trouble. But really, it's really a shame when you have an exciting new part or change in an article, only to find the article creator cut it out. (this relates to my adventures in McDonald's menu items and User:ProhibitOnions. A better idea, instead of an edit war, would be a table of some sort that can accomadate both. Please PM me about that! TheListUpdater 23:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Professor Llama: Okay, I see. That's a good point; it just appeared to me that the news story was randomly shoved in (again, assuming it to be by some anonymous grunt), but by your reasoning that is a logical course of action. And as for creators erasing your creations, I do know what you mean; that can be a real pain; my apologies. Thanks for your help.
  • Addition March 20, 2007: Here's an idea: since my original purpose was to denote which games were featured on the cover, how about we switch the places of the games and news story; that is, the game appears first and the headline for the cover appears in parentheses. Let me know what you think.
