[edit] Sources of Wealth
- Carlos Slim's source of wealth certainly is Grupo Carso. However, Grupo Carso has no wiki-article, where the strongest companies of said Group do, and thus, it is better to link to them.
- Ricardo Salinas, one of his sources of wealth certainly is TV Azteca, however, Salinas y Rocha, Unefon, Banco Azteca, Elektra, and many other companies comprising "Grupo Salinas" are also a great source of wealth for this person. That is why both TV Azteca and Grupo Salinas should be listed.
- Emilio Azcarraga, his main source of wealth is Televisa. The article "Grupo Televisa" redirects to "Televisa" so, I see no reason why this list should have a direct link to Televisa.

- I see your point, but I don't see having no link to those articles a good reason to post incorrect information. I work for one of the very profitable companies of the Grupo Carso which is not Telmex, Telcel or América Móvil. It would be easier to create a stub for the Grupo Carso (In fact, I'll do it right now, to even take this issue out of our, very friendly :), discussion) and then post the correct information then giving the false impression that his wealth only comes from these 3 entities. Your reasoning on Ricardo Salinas supports not including TV Azteca separately ("as in carrots and vegetables") more than it supports including it. Cheers --FateClub 20:44, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

- And.. what do you know, Telmex is not part of Grupo Carso. --FateClub 21:13, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Being this the case, then Grupo Carso should be added. Though, I still believe that it is Telmex and América Movil Slim's main source of wealth. I don't see the logic behind Ricardo Salinas's not including TV Azteca. Grupo Salinas is as much a source of wealth for him as TV Azteca. Hari Seldon 22:54, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- The logic is that Grupo Salinas includes TV Azteca, including both is like saying "apples and fruits". --FateClub 20:28, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
