[edit] Duplicate list removed

I've removed items 29 to 56, which were the duplicated entries.

(And in doing so forgot to log in, which is why the history shows it as an anonymous edit. *sigh*)

[edit] Martin Luther

Shouldn't he be listed only once? Probably under Reformer instead of Bible scholars -Jcbarr 07:01, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

    • Although it was his being a Bible Scholar (Sola Scriptura) that directly led him to becoming the Reformer. Tcschenks 15:04, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Linus Pauling

I felt a bit uncertain about removing Pauling, but he's still listed under Nobel Prize winners. I was just pretty sure I'd read that he hasn't been Lutheran since he was a kid and even then not very active.--T. Anthony 11:27, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Tightening it up a bit

Going off for the holidays isn't quite working. Anyway I'm going to try to tighten up the qualifications here. Not too tight, just a bit more sourcing and such. I'm actually adding and not removing right now.--T. Anthony 07:24, 25 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Criteria for listing

As most people in Scandinavian nations identify as Lutheran in some fashion, a stricter standard may needed to be applied for Scandanavians. Also, in general, names should be supported by at least one of the sources listed toward the end of the article.

I only did that because someone went to my talk page and said they'd put this up for deletion if things like that weren't added. As this person had done this on lists I worked on more often I figured it wasn't an idle statement/threat. I was heading them off.--T. Anthony 12:53, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] To Consider For Removal

I have read that Garrison Keillor is now attending an Episcopal Church. I'm working on finding a source. Once I do, though, how will we handle this one? -- RazorChicken 18:32, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Here's your source... Christianity Today interview of Garrison Kiellor. --Rickscholz 15:14, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
