[edit] Japanese kana not needed
Why do we have the Japanese kana for the characters' names up here? While I'm sure that's very interesting to a few people, it seems rather superfluous, considering that the game is not Japanese in origin. If this were a Japanese game, I'd be all for including the names in kana as well as in English, but in this context they seem out of place.
- Perhaps not, but it is interesting to note how things are spelled. >> Perhaps someone should move them outta the headings and into the articles?

[edit] Problem with the article
The first sentence of this article says, "The Precursors were an ancient race that created all planets and all life." This is objectively false. Sure, perhaps, in some fictional universe ("Jak and Daxter"), this is true, but not in real life - which is how it is presented. You may counter, correctly, that the article is titled "List of Jak and Daxter characters" - but I got here (never having heard of Jak or Daxter) from a search for a word, where the first link that came up was Erol. Not everyone understands who Jak and Daxter are, and while no reasonable person would believe that the first sentence of the article is meant to be objectively, real-life true, the fact remains that the article's first sentence is objectively, real-life untrue. Someone knowledgeable in the topic should create a lead to the article accordingly. zafiroblue05 | Talk 05:01, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- yes but who the **** dosn't read the TITLE OF THE ARTICLE before they read on? Answer me that.
- Nobody. At least, nobody with an ounce of brains. And how can you NOT hear about J&D? They rock! --RedZion--71.145.176.152 22:57, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- how could you possibly be linking this whole precursor business to real life?
- Usually, a list of anything characters means either an alphabet will coem next, or some sort of a fictional work's characters is going to come next. I say keep the sentence the way it is. Also, the sentence "Neptune is the god of water" is also objectively false, btu noone cares to change that, right? Abby724 23:09, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Missing some voice actors....and searching for info on the Japanese cast
I plan to update this page with info on the Japanese voice cast; it might prove useful for those of us who want to hear the games in their Japanese form.
[edit] On the speculation that Praxis and Damas are brothers
That would make Jak and Ashelin cousins. EWW! I would have put a note in the article, but Wikipedia has a policy against that sort of thing, so what now? -Not Diablo 11:20, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
I have never heard it even hinted that they were brothers. -Farae 11:50, 14 July 2006
[edit] Missing a few characters
U frgot about the lurker creatures dat appear in Jak and daxter
This page seems to be missing some newer characters in the Jak & Daxter universe, mainly from the Daxter PSP game. There are a couple missing from Jak X as well.
- Unless I am blind, it appears that the list is also missing Jak, and Daxter as well. This must be rectified. -Farae 11:20, 11 July 2006

- No, they aren't missing! Jak and Daxter have their own separate character pages.- Zhane Masaki 10:48, 12 July 2006

[edit] In Need of Images
This article is in desperate need of images, and previous images have been deleted for some reason. Farae 04:37, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Someone had added images, I just made them fit better in with the article. Madd the sane 00:05, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
