Talk:List of Israeli ambassadors
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ambiguous title. "Ambassadors from Israel" could mean "people from Israel who have become Ambassadors for various countries" or it could mean (as I suspect it's meant to) "Israel Ambassadors to various countries, not ordered by date or appointing government"
Perhaps "Israeli Ambassadors" or "Ambassadors of Israel"? orthogonal 21:44, 12 Nov 2003 (UTC)
You're right. Gabi S. 15:54, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
There is NO Israeli mission in Indonesia. Why put Indonesia as a host country? Besides, no Israeli ambassador double as non-resident for Indonesia. Rad vsovereign 22:42, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
I think the combining idea is fine. There is a similar entry with Ambassadors from the United States. I'm not sure the title is confusing. I included Indonesia on the list only because there is an Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that serves it. Perhaps there is a better way to note that fact. It is true that there is no Israeli ambassador that serves in Indonesia or is accredited there. Israel's Ambassador to Singapore has served as a contact between the two states and regularly interacts with Indonesian officials.
