[edit] Format
Ok I created a rough format so that we are not just listing scroll titles. What do you think? --88wolfmaster 00:09, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- I do not understand how that format works, so if you want me to continue adding scroll titles, you will have to clean up after me. OK? JRSpriggs 10:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thats fine--88wolfmaster 23:29, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
ok, the current setup is going to create a huge table of contents so i'm modifing it.--88wolfmaster 19:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Volume tiles and scroll numbers
The volumes I have purchased do not have titles other than "InuYasha, vol.4" or some such. And the scrolls within each volume are numbered beginning with 1. JRSpriggs 06:37, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- well i got the info from the viz site (but i could be wrong). as to the scroll numbers, even if they start over the numbering I think for organizations sake we should have an ongoing numbering system. I'll leave the decision to whether to keep the titles or not up to you.--88wolfmaster 23:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

- OK. I now see that what you are calling the titles of the volumes ARE on the volumes after all, although not on the front cover or the "title" page. They are the headlines of the blurbs or teasers on the back cover, but only about two millimeters high. Still, I suppose that they are better than just a volume number. Those blurbs are the same as at the web site. JRSpriggs 04:44, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- yeah, better than nothing. I'll just make sure they are linked to the vis site for citation purposes.--88wolfmaster 18:53, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Error in scroll numbering
I noticed that there is an error in the numbering of the scrolls. It jumps from 26 to 28 in volume 3. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_InuYasha_chapters&diff=118691950&oldid=118484526 This is an example of how using numbers different from the original source can get us into trouble. JRSpriggs 04:47, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- Apparently, 4.167.174.231 (talk • contribs) has done us a favor and fixed the numbering. JRSpriggs 09:29, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- awesome. yes i know that its a lot more work this way, but it helps when trying to sort out the number of english chapters.--88wolfmaster 18:45, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What next? Descriptions of whole volumes or of separate scrolls?
Apparently, the original plan was to describe each scroll's contents. However, given the large number of scrolls, I wonder whether it might be better just to give summary descriptions of whole volumes instead. What do you think? JRSpriggs 07:21, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- Ok what I was thinking was summarize the volumes, maybe state which anime episodes the vol covers, add release information, and integrate the ISBNs. Also i think we need to cover production information.--88wolfmaster 19:20, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
