  • Hmm, if you click on the links above, it doesn't look like the current version has been transwikied. Pan Dan 14:11, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I would have to agree. One link is empty and the other leads to a list with some of the same entries, but obviously not based on this page, unless they decided to throw out all the sources and go just with urbandictionary. </shudder> --Onorem 11:05, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] pwned

It is less a miss spelling , then means "owned by a pistil" ala fps games , where pistils are generally week. It eventually just adoped the meaning of owned , or owned badly. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.199.230.121 (talkcontribs).

Would you happen to have a reliable source that can verify that claim? --Onorem 21:57, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] IDWTD

IDWTD - I Don't Want To Die

needs to be added.

It would need a source before it needs to be added. --Onorem 18:29, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Interweb

interweb - Internet. A sarcastic portmanteau of "Internet" and "World Wide Web", implying the inexperience of the speaker.
Can't add due to blockage.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 122.19.21.168 (talk • contribs).
Source? --Onorem 03:36, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
He's right, interweb is increasingly common in places like digg or reddit as variation of internet. Interweb has a good account on the history of the term. Should it be added? Any thoughts? AxiomShell 16:17, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't doubt the term, but it still needs a source, and examples of forum usage are not considered a reliable source. I don't mean to sound rude, and the page has stayed much cleaner since being protected, but if people want things added, they should be ready to provide a source. I'm not saying sources don't exist. I'm just saying that it would be nice if people provided them when they are asking for terms to be added. --Onorem 19:03, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey, no probs. :-) I guess my post was more of a call to a source search than anything else. Couldn't find anything within the criteria though... AxiomShell 19:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Somebody add: GIYF -- Google it you Fucker/Google is your Friend—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.91.126.140 (talk • contribs).

[edit] Internet slang

This is an article of internet slang terms. However, some of the terms on this page are not internet slang terms. We should delete these.

Some examples are-

DOA AWOL

These should be in acronyms page, not here. I will delete these and some others when I have a chance, unless anyone has any strong convictions against it. N i g h t F a l c o n 9 0 9 0 9' T a l k 16:22, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Game Acronyms

Game Acronyms should not be on this list, they'd be that way even if the internet didnt exist. maybe if people called games by something other then their initials, like calling World of Warcraft, Shit-MMO or something, then yes, but since WoW is just an abbreviation of World of Warcraft, it shouldnt be there. Neither should EverQuest. - Count23 14:43, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

What about Css Counter-strike: source

I did say "Game Acronyms", is Counter-strike:Source not a game? - Count23 13:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
