Talk:List of German and Austrian composers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The list doesn't have Felix Mendelssohn, a German composer in the Romantic period. I will add him to the list, and if there are any objections, please notify me. Another thing, Mendelssohn was born in 1809, which is a bit past 1770 - 1800. I'm not sure what would be the best thing to do about it.

- adding hierarchies is, by definition, POV. I've taken all of the bold-faced names out. I've also taken out some very discutable statements, such as "Bach is the Father of Counterpoint".....Ever heard of "Ars Nova"?
NOW, why are Austrian and German composers on the same page? They all speak German, but it's two different countries....Musikfabrik 21:48, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
