[edit] NO MERGE

Whoever removed the old articles and merged them into this 1 lame summary is honestly an idiot. The other articles were filled with interesting information that was unique and specific to the dorm. This list provides no valuable information AT ALL to anybody who is interested in reading about these dorms. DO NOT re-merge these articles, and do not delete them. A lot of hard work could have been lost. I will be going through each dorm's article and adding relevant information, especially for the ones that are nearly empty. But please respect other's work and do not merge these articles because it is pointless and useless to everybody. Sillywebby 17:10, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merger Proposal

It has been proposed that most of the female dorm articles be redirected here so I'll set up a vote.

[edit] Comments

  • Wikipedia is not affiliated with Notre Dame and has no obligation to have dorm articles. Most other colleges (though there are some exceptions) don't have articles on dorms so why should Notre Dame be special. I understand that dormlife at Notre Dame is important to students (I just graduated last May and lived in Dillon for all four years), however most of the dorms are not notable enough to warrant an article. I started six of the eleven articles proposed for merger and I was the only edit for many of them. Dorm articles are ripe for vandalism as people add themselves and friends to the notable residents list. For these reasons I voted merge.Phydend 22:01, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
