[edit] Stoner

please guys, don't jump the gun on a few lines of dialog. I even went back again and watched that part. He only says that even without ray=out (him working on ray=out makes him apart of Gekko State in the first place, as Gekko puts ray=out out to leak information to the public) he'll stay with them taking pictures and recording events, since he can't fight in battle. Clearly he was always a member, and I don't see how this "demotes" him. Clearly the members of Gekko State include non-combatants as well. I say we ask someone at Nanashi Fansubs (on their forums) for some insight to this. --Ned Scott 05:09, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. But this lines serve to prove that he is not only a Photographer, but also a Journalist. Exukvera 12:29, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

He's listed under GekkoState in the official Eureka Seven website. Tenks 16:35, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Anemone

The entry should be adjusted to note that while she is experiencing the headache she doesn't want the drug. The headache seems to be a withdrawal symptom or something. Plus, the immediate relief is similar to that of addiction. Hackwrench 07:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pronunciation

At the bottom of the Eureka Seven main page, under "english dubs", I quote: "This choice by the dubbing staff is a subject of contention among fans, and it is unclear if the creators of the series intended for Eureka's name to sound like the word or not. Ironically, while the Japanese voice actors mispronounce 'Anemone', the English cast say her name as it would be pronounced in English."

I don't believe this is correct. In English, "anemone" is pronounced uh-nem-uh-knee. So far, I've heard two pronunciations of Anemone in E7: "uh-nem-uh-nay", and "uh-nem-uh-neh". Neither matches the English pronunciation, so I take it that somebody messed up? -70.111.21.119 15:43, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps that quote should be taken off. The English version is "uh-nem-uh-nee", for those who didn't know. - サイレン 12,55, March 7th, 2007 [ETC]

[edit] Gonzy

Shouldn't we mention something about Gonzy being a Coralian?

This is meant to be an overall description of the series, not a list of all the spoilers we can think of. Random spoiler facts like that are useless to anyone who's seen the series, because they'd already know those facts, and they're undesirable to most people who haven't seen the series, because they're spoilers. If you want to write a thoughtful piece on how Gonzy's true nature affects his role in the series and his relationships with the other characters, though, that would probably be more appropriate. -- Asterphage 22:22, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Someone wrote something about Gonzy that makes no sense to me. I am no expert on Eureka Seven, so I cannot guess was was intended, but the section on Gonzy says:
Unlike Sakuya and Eureka, it is never hinted that he could have existed.
What is that supposed to mean? It should be clarified because right now it sounds like gibberish. -- Lilwik 01:39, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
It's about how Gonzy's existence as a Coralian (as opposed to just some dude) was never hinted at during the course of the series, unlike Eureka (in the first episode) or Sakuya (later on). That is awkardly worded, though. —TangentCube /c /t  01:58, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hilda

Does anyone have a really, really reliable source on her age? Eureka-prj.net says 25, but eurekaseven.bandai-ent.com says 28. I'm inclined to believe the Japanese materials over the American in general, but this could be a one-letter typo on either side. -- Asterphage 22:35, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

In Episode 22(dub), Talho says that Hilda is one year older than her. 68.0.99.130 06:27, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Eureka

Should we keep the edit made by 24.178.71.185 about Eureka's fate at the end of the series? I know I'm new to the series and it kinda ruined it, so I say remove major spoilers like that from the main Eureka Seven page, at least until the show makes its complete run on AdultSwim. RogueJedi86 15:57, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Well, at the end of the series, Eureka is shown to be 16 years old, the same age as Renton. Is it safe to consider her 14?

Never assume anything. Unless it's said in the anime what her age is, leave it unknown. dposse 21:48, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
He's referencing the adoption certificate seen at the very end of the series. So, officially she's 16 at the end, but nothing points to her actual age or her apparent age otherwise. 24.4.105.240 01:51, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Voice actors

I've added in VA/seiyū information, bringing the article in line with other anime character lists I've seen, using FLCL as a refernece for the table. I've left in the tables (commented out) for characters I couldn't find info for, so they can be added in later. The seiyū names should probably be looked over by someone more familiar with Japanese, though. -- TangentCube -c 03:04, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Renton

Quote from article: "There isn't a place he hasn't traveled that his last name won't ring a bell to anyone." Soes this mean that his name is well known in all the places he has not traveled to, or that his name is well known everywhere, or that wherever he travels, someone knows his name? This sentence needs to be cleaned up. --Ximm 04:23, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Norbu

The English dub very clearly pronounces it "Master Norb," and the Adult Swim Fix page spells it that way, though briefly during "Pacific State" if you squint really hard at the sheet of paper on him you can see it still reads "Norbu" for his name. What name should we use here? 68.0.99.130 01:29, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

I'd say go with Norb, since we're using everything else from the dub. -- Tenks 01:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

Could Will be H.P._Baxxter of Scooter?

While viewing the Scooter page I noticed this- ["Respect to the men in the ice cream van!" - Weekend, 2003 , no spelling mistake in "men", it refers to the UK-Dance-Formation "KLF" who usually drove around in that kind of vehicle.] does anyone think "KLF" has any significance to Eureka 7? Nicknchops

In the reference to Renton's uncle, the Jet Black stated is from Cowboy Bebop but the link itself goes to Jet Black the English Drummer. Was this intentional or a mistake? should it be corrected? Nicknchops 01:12, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who are these Characters?

Who are these Characters?

[1]

It's the 13th DVD of Eureka Seven link to translated DVD pageStrike Chaos 01:40, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I assume those two are Renton and Eureka. —TangentCube /c /t  02:33, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Didn't you notice that the boy had the Coralian wings and the girl doesn't thats the opposite of Renton and Eureka. Not to mention the boy's hair is lighter and slightly more goldieh and the girls hair slightly darker with a Misty hair style. I could believe if the boys is Renton and Eureka's Greatgreatgreatgreatgranchild or somthing but it didn't appear in the anime so I just want to know so we can update the article if there is any info on them. Strike Chaos 03:21, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
i would suggest you wait till more information is available before you do anything, and now i am really confused by that NekrosKoma 03:59, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Agreed with the above; sure one can assume that the boy is the child/descendant of Eureka and Renton, but until more information becomes availible, there's nothing more to it than a picture on a DVD cover. I have seen this picture before, but as far as I know, there is no information availible on these characters. 68.0.99.130 04:03, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
I go with the "artistic license" excuse, because it's easier. —TangentCube /c /t  04:41, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
More info it's out now. Strike Chaos 04:50, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Interesting photo... can you link to the new information? We can't really add speculation to the article, no matter how good it sounds-- there's the whole verifiability thing. Magus Melchior 07:13, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Isn't the only "new info" that it's the Volume 13 DVD cover? If I'm wrong correct me, but I don't think that the DVD set contains any information on the characters pictured there. 68.0.99.130 03:29, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Peer review?

I noticed that the peer review template has been sitting there for a while. Did anything come out of that? Magus Melchior 03:46, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't think there ever was a peer review. It seems (to me) like the templates at the top of the main article talk page were simply copied over to this page. —TangentCube /c /t  04:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
