Talk:List of EDA companies

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

EDA companies come and go - at least in the past this happens very often. My proposal is to limit this page to existing or past EDA companies, but to not list companies which are not know to have a real EDA product but only interface with EDA systems. Also for every EDA company the name of their EDA products should be listed here. And finally this page should not be limited to the participants of a particular DAC conference. I am doing some disambuating, and found that the entry for EVE pointed to a nonexistant article about Emulation Verification Engineering and/or EVE. I changed the link to point to the web page for EVE, and verified on that web page that they are an exibitor at the 2006 DAC. Gerry Ashton 18:42, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] citations

The majority of companies listed on this page, have no references and no products listed. If the company has no article in the wikipedia, please create a link to the company webpage. Other company names should probably be deleted. --Philippe 13:20, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't think this is standard Wikipedia formatting; shouldn't we create articles for those without if they are notable, and not have external links at all?Davind 23:05, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
