The 1950 Chrysler Town & Country was technically badged the Chrysler Newport Town & Country.

The Royal name returned on low-rung Newports for 1972 only, but the Royal name was featured so prominently in period literature, that it bears mentioning. If the 1979 Cordoba 300 counts as a Chrysler 300, then this should count as a Chrysler Royal.

The Town & Country name was continued on Chrysler station wagons past 1950, and leading consistenly up through the 1974-77 full-size model, then to the M-body LeBaron from 1978-81, then to the K-car models of 1982-88, and when the K wagons were canned after '88, it went on hiatus for 1989, returning on the minivan line for 1990.

The 1981-83 Imperial coupes were definitely Chrysler Imperials, as well.

And, should the 1970 Chrysler 300-H be counted as a letter-series 300? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rhettro76 (talk • contribs) 21:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC).
