Talk:List of Chinese companies

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Why group them all together? No List of companies in Mainland China, List of companies in Hong Kong, etc? Jiang 10:02, 13 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Is there a reason why it says "from the PRC" and not "based in the PRC?" It's kind of odd to say a company is "from" anywhere. Fuzheado 01:07, 28 Feb 2004 (UTC)

[edit] The same old problem

User:Huaiwei has attempted to make the lists of Hong Kong and Macao companies presented like sublists of the list of mainland companies [1] [2], despite Hong Kong, Macao and the mainland are separate entities in economic sense. — Instantnood June 30, 2005 14:46 (UTC)

Because it is List of companies in the People's Republic of China, and not List of companies in Mainland China. If you want to have articles or categories which tout the "autonomy" of the two SARS SARs, then mind explaininag the existance of the Category:Military of Hong Kong category?--Huaiwei 6 July 2005 10:02 (UTC)
Apparently the list of companies in mainland China was moved to the current location by your close partner on Wikipedia when the discussions were in progress.
Category:Military of Hong Kong is currently a subcategory of both category:Military of the People's Republic of China and category:Military of the United Kingdom. Is there anything wrong with it? — Instantnood July 6, 2005 10:36 (UTC)
Who is my close partner?--Huaiwei 6 July 2005 10:58 (UTC)
Why not? So you insists seperate articles and categories much be created in all things related to HK which are not military or foreign affairs-related. So can you explain the existance of this category and all of its articles? If you must create and use categories related to mainland China, then can you explain this phenomena?--Huaiwei 6 July 2005 10:58 (UTC)
Is there any other reasons apart from how the list is titled? If you really have a question on category:Military of Hong Kong please settle it at category talk:Military of Hong Kong. — Instantnood July 6, 2005 11:17 (UTC)
But it is the same old problem, isnt it? You yourself called it as such, so why are you asking yet again for justifications in this?--Huaiwei 6 July 2005 11:26 (UTC)
Is it appropriate to discuss on another category on this talk page? — Instantnood July 6, 2005 11:53 (UTC)
