Talk:List of Celts

[edit] Irrelevant

I believe that this page should be nominated for deletion. It implies something that it is not. When one accesses it, one should naturally assume to see a list of people who are classified as Celts, that is, by history and the period in which they lived. In stead, it is a disambuation page for people that live in Celtic countries. These people are not 'Celts'. It is a misunderstanding of the use of the word Celt and leads people to form an opinion which is not correct if such an opinion is that to be from these lands, one is Celtic. I feel deletion or a serious overhaul is in horder. Enzedbrit 04:38, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree. When i found this page i expected it to list the ancient Celtic peoples much as the first part of the List of Germanic peoples does. A section discussing the modern Celtic nations in proper context and with qualification would be relevant as well but in its current form it is, as you say, misleading. siarach 12:31, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
