Lisyan (リーシャン Rīshan?, Lisyan in original Japanese language versions) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. Lisyan is one of the baby Pokémon that appears in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The purpose of Lisyan in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

[edit] Biological characteristics

Lisyan is a small, yellow bell-like Pokémon, physically similar to bells that hang in Japanese temples. A striped ribbon flows behind it, resembling small hands or a scarf. It is the pre-evolved form of Chimecho.

[edit] In the video games

Lisyan can be bred from Chimecho using the new item Clear Incense. To evolve Lisyan into Chimecho, Lisyan must have a high level of friendship when leveling up at night only.
