Listen Up

Listen Up was also a song by American band The Gossip
Listen Up is a short-lived CBS television series that aired from September 20, 2004 until April 25, 2005. The sitcom was based on the life of Tony Kornheiser. Its executive producer was Jason Alexander, who was also the starring character. Despite decent-to-good ratings, the show was canceled by CBS on May 18, 2005, largely due to rising production costs. This led many people to blame the failure of Listen Up! on The "Seinfeld curse", by which actors who had starred in the sitcom Seinfeld were supposedly doomed to thereafter remain unsuccessful. With one full season of 22 episodes, it was the longest running show of any of the "Seinfeld" cast members until Julia Louis-Dreyfus's show, The New Adventures of Old Christine.
