RTSH - Albania's only Public Television. It was founded by the Communist Government in 1975. Since the fall of Communism in 1989, RTSH has undergone thorough changes. It has unsuccessfully tried to reinvent herself as an independent television. RTSH is a member of the EBU and has the copyright of home games of Albania's national soccer team, Eurosong, Olympics etc

A1 Televizion - Private Television with a concentration in economic/business news. Recently A1 is trying to attract a broader audience through shows such as Papparazzi and Hienat. It is also the only television with purely economic TV shows like A1 Biznes and Kapital. It has a Bloomberg like format, with scrolling news and business quotes. News is updated in real time 24 hours a day. Since January A1 television has started airing movies and it probably has the latest and most famous movies of any public television in Albania, although it rarely advertises the fact, to comply with its 'news channel' image.

Klan TV - Private National Television founded in 1998. One of Albania's highest rated television stations, known for its long-standing political show Opinion, entertainment productions such as Gjeniu i Vogel, Kenget e Shekullit, Porta e Fatit, Kutia e Fundit etc. Recently Klan bought the rights to Zone e Lire, considered as the highest rated talk show hosted by a former news editor, Arjan Cani.

News 24 - A purely news channel, News 24 is a format which resembles its Italian equivalent. News is updated every minute, which has made News 24, the favorite station of many Albanian institutions and news junkies. Apart from the news, News 24 produces every year "Kafazi i Arte", an Albanian adoption of the famous real tv show "Big Brother"

TVA - TVA is also a national television service like RTSH and Klan. TVA has been known in recent years for its instability, frequent change of staff and executive directors, which have caused a significant drop of its audience share in the market. Recently it has undergone a "face-lift" surgery, producing shows such as E diela, Political Show with Mentor Nazarko etc.

TV Koha - TV Koha once owned by the publisher of KOha Jone newspaper, was sold in 2003 to a group of businessmen, who invested to increase the television's quality. TV Koha is known for its wide range of foreign movies shown every night. Its other popular shows are Koha Juaj etc.

Top Channel - A private television company, Top Channel was founded in 2001. It is not a national television company although it covers 80% (not legal) of the Albanian territory. Its highest rated shows are Portokalli, Fiks Fare, Top Fest, Top Show, Kupid, Shqip, Goodmorning Albania etc...

Vizion + - Private Television founded in 1999. Vizion Plus is one of the most watched television stations in the country. Its most popular shows are Perralle me mbret, Elephant Show with the most beautiful girl TV ever seen, Zip, Quiz Plus, Metropolitan Show, Femrat, SOS,Cudira Shqiptare, Njerez te humbur, Bypass Show, Moto + etc. Vizion Plus collaborate with the most famous film studios, Sony Pictures Universal & Paramount Picture.fghh
