List of famous people who had or have a stutter, and pop culture about stuttering. Note: many people on the following list have or had extremely mild disorders; they were able to mask the symptoms of their speech impediment, and in some instances they are noted on this list only because they had transient stuttering problems as children. Others on the list (such as King George VI) had more severe and noticeable stutters.
