- The exact dates or reign for Thor Haklang Kjotveson are uncertain though approximated to the 870s. We also know that Gudrod Kjøtve the Rich ruled until 872. [1]
- Northumbria, East Anglia and Mercia had ceased to be autonomous and independent kingdoms by this time.
- The date reigns of Sigurd Orm i Øje, as well as his actual existence, is controversial though East Anglian coins exist featuring him.
- Date of the end of Sancho I's reign is uncertain. Sancho II may have been monarch by 875.
