  • Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
  • Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS)

Both the following are Cisco proprietary protocols, and are supported on Cisco routers or other vendors' routers to which Cisco has licensed the technology:

  • Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP)
  • Enhanced IGRP (EIGRP)
