Political parties in Monaco lists political parties in Monaco. Monaco was traditionally a one party dominant state with the National and Democratic Union in power. Opposition parties were widely considered to have no real chance of gaining power. At the 9 February 2003 elections, however, the Union for Monaco a coalition of two parties, won 21 of the 24 seats in the National Council of Monaco.
