The attraction closed permanently on the evening of August 19, 2006. The attraction will be replaced with a new ride called Toy Story Mania, now officially announced, which will open in 2008 (also at Disney's California Adventure).

[edit] Fireworks

  • Sorcery in the Sky. The show debuted in 1989 when the park opened, and provided entertainment for night guests. The show was cancelled in 1997, and its replacement was Fantasmic!, debuting in 1998. Fantasmic! drew record amounts of guests to the park, making a return of the fireworks display unlikely. However, Sorcery in the Sky is still performed on occasion during corporate functions, most recently when the park was rented out for a night in May 2005.[citation needed]
