[edit] Anita and her crewmen

[edit] Anita

(アニタ Anita?)

Anita
Anita

Acting as a manager of a brothel in China, this beautiful woman is, in fact, a supporter of the Black Order. She is as direct and strong woman, yet the sensible type, and has an immense crew that obeys her. In love with General Cross Marian, just like her deceased mother, she decides to go with Allen and the others to search for him in Japan. Unfortunately, she was fatally wounded by an akuma's poison (which did not take affect until Miranda exhausted her innocence) when the Akuma attacked her ship. Even knowing this, she acted normal until the last moment to keep Lenalee calm. She eventually died when Miranda left the ship and the effects of Time Record ceased. She is not an Exorcist, but she can cast spells using a talisman.

[edit] Chaoji

(チャオジー Chaojī?)

Chaoji
Chaoji

One of three surviving crew members of Anita; he seems to be very brave. Even though Chaoji was defenseless against the Akuma and the Noah, he attacked Tyki Mikk with his bare hands when the Noah captured Lenalee. Because of his action, he was almost killed by the Noah but was saved thanks to Yu Kanda. He is currently trapped in the Ark with Allen and company.

[edit] Mahoja

(マホジャ Mahoja?)

Mahoja
Mahoja

A woman with a very strong body that Lavi thought she was a man at first. She is a supporter of the Order and the right arm/best friend of Anita. Her personality is as strong as her muscles, which are strong enough to fight a level 2 Akuma. Just like Anita, she was killed by an Akuma on the ship going to Japan, but just died when Miranda left the place. Until the end she acted normally by continuing to command the crew and supporting Anita until she died by her side.

[edit] Arystar's Town

[edit] George

The mayor of the town who begged Allen and Lavi to help with their "vampire" problem. He owns the lunch stand.

[edit] Jean's town, England

[edit] Jean

(ジャン Jan?)

Jean
Jean

Seiyū: Sanpei Yuko

A young boy (John in VIZ's translations) Allen met on his way to HQ. Jean and his best friend, Leo (レオ)both started the Akuma Patrol. After an encounter where he found out Leo was turned into an Akuma, Jean decided to go to his father's scientific workplace at the Vatican to gain more power in defeating the Earl of Millennium. In anime he was also named as Jean Russell and his father appears in ep.6-8.

[edit] Leo

Jean and Leo
Jean and Leo

Leo was the best friend of Jean, and the two had started the Akuma Patrol together. One day, Leo's mother passed away. In spite of his knowledge of Akuma, he enlisted the help of the Earl of Millennium to bring his mother back to life. He was then killed by her.

[edit] Leo's mother

Leo's mother's trapped soul
Leo's mother's trapped soul

Leo's mother passed away one day. The impacted on Leo was so great that he called for the aid of the Earl of Millennium. She became an akuma, and she received and order to kill Leo and wear his skin. The Earl used the new akuma to lure Jean into a trap to kill him and the threat he posed. However, Allen tagged along and destroyed the many akumas present, including the one that was originally Leo's mother.

[edit] Mateel, Italy

[edit] Guzol

(グゾル Guzoru?)

Guzol
Guzol

Seiyū: Mitsuru Ogata

A man who is over 80 years old. As a child, he was abandoned at Mateel due to his deformed face. When he first met Lala, he gladly accepted her offer to sing a song for him and accompanied her ever since. He lied to the Finders, claiming that he was the ghost so no one would take Lala's heart, which was an Innocence. He was later wounded by an Akuma who impaled him with its claw through his back. He died soon after due to this injury, doubled with old age. His face was never really shown clearly in the anime.

[edit] Lala

(ララ Rara?)

Lala
Lala

Seiyū: Kuwashima Houko

A doll that was created to sing and dance for the citizens of Mateel, Italy. After the citizens abandoned the city, Lala still continued to move after 500 years due to her heart being made from an Innocence. She was then called the "Ghost of Mateel", due to her frightening appearance. She accompanied Guzol after he met her when he was a child. Her heart was taken when she was attacked by an Akuma, but was then put back after the Akuma was destroyed. The Innocence remained in her heart until she "broke" after Guzol's death, and then it was returned to Hevlaska by Allen.

On a separate note, Lala has immense strength, which allows her to carry large heavy objects, like a large stone pillar that she threw at Allen.

[edit] Opening town, England

[edit] Charles

Charles
Charles

Seiyū: Kimura Masafumi

Charles was Moore's partner. He was killed by the Crea akuma when they investigated the old church. He was scared to go in there.

[edit] Crea

Crea
Crea

Seiyū: Amano Yuri

The late sister to Moore and wife to Pastor Mark. Her parents were killed by burglars when they were young, and Mark, whom she ended up marrying later, looked after them. When Moore joined the police force, Crea threw a fit. She talked to Mark, who was speaking for Moore's behalf, about it. She was never given a chance to apologise to Moore to her face, as a cast iron cross skewered her when the rope suspending it broke. In a deep state of grief, Mark partnered with the Earl of Millennium to resurrect her as an Akuma. However, the Earl ordered her to kill him and wear his skin. Powerless to resist, she obeyed his orders. Posing as Mark, she would kill anyone in the old church at night. When Moore came to investigate the murders and disappearances, she came across Allen. Allen revealed what Mark really was, but not before the Akuma wiped out the entire police force except for Moore. Allen then exorcised the Akuma, freeing Crea and allowing her to rest in peace. She is called "Claire" in the VIZ translation.

[edit] Detective

The Detective
The Detective

The Detective of the police station. After Charles' death, he integrated Allen and accused him of killing Charles. The detective told Moore to keep Allen at her house. He and some other officers went back to the abandoned church to investigate. They were killed by the Cera akuma. The detective is a large man who almost always has a cigar in his mouth

[edit] Mark

Mark
Mark

Seiyū: Kawashima Tokuyoshi

Mark was the husband to Crea, and brother-in-law to Moore. When Crea and Moore's parents were killed, Mark looked after the two. He later ended up marrying Crea. One day, while having a discussion with Crea, a huge cast iron broke free from its bonds, and killed Crea instantly. In a state of grief, he caught the attention of the Earl of Millennium. Calling out his wife's name, he brought Crea back as an Akuma and was immediately killed by her. He is called "Marc" in the VIZ translation.

[edit] Moore Hesse

(モア Moa?)

Moore
Moore

Seiyū: Satsuki Yukino

A young police officer that Allen meets in the first chapter. She and her partner had been assigned to investigate a church that was supposedly haunted. Her partner Charles claims that is because of the incident two years ago, which Moore denies the church being cursed. This is probably because two years ago the incident was the death of her sister, Crea. Her partner Charles is killed, and Allen quickly figures out the cause of his death. Later on, a whole police unit is killed by the same Akuma. The Akuma is revealed to be her sister Crea (or Claire), whom her brother-in-law Mark (or Marc) tried to bring back. Moore is known as "Moa" in VIZ's translations. She is the first charcter seen in the series.

[edit] The Rewinding City, Germany

[edit] Peter

Peter
Peter

A boy from the Rewinding Town. He and his friends tormented Miranda by chanting a horrid song that goes, "Miranda, Miranda, Bad Luck Miranda. Guys Won't Look At You. You're a Downer and a klutz. Looking for Work Again? You'll Get Fired Again Anyway." Peter tossed a piece of poop at Miranda thirty times because of the time rewinds. (In the anime the poop was replaced with a snake.)

[edit] Shopkeeper

The shopkeeper
The shopkeeper

A man that owns a pawn shop in the rewinding city. He told Miranda about how the clock (the innocence) was a good clock but the spring wouldn't turn so it didn't work. He thought Miranda didn't believe him so he told her to try it herself and to his surprise the spring turned. His surprise was because many people had tried to turn it but no one succeeded. After that he told Miranda that she should buy the clock. He bears an odd resemblance to General Froi Tiedoll.

[edit] Theater Owner

Allen and Miranda were selling tickets for his show "The Pumpkin And The Witch" hoping to get Miranda a job and stop the rewinds. The owner was overjoyed with the fine work they were doing and said if they sold a lot of tickets he would hire them full time. However, he became enraged when Miranda let the ticket money get pickpocketed and fired her. The owner is a large man with the appearance of a ring master. He has a top hat, mustache and a long nose.

[edit] Other

[edit] Eaze

(イーズ Īzu?)

Eaze
Eaze

One of Tyki Mikk's human friends. Eaze is a young orphan who watches Tyki and the other two's games. Eaze wears a mask, as if he/she has some sort of disease. When Allen Walker beat the three men at strip poker and gave them back their clothes, Eaze tried to give him what looked like a red string as thanks. Tyki objected, and gave Allen the deck of cards they had played with. If Allen had taken the string, he would have discovered an exorcist dogtag with "Kevin Yeeger" on it. Eaze and the other two are currently in Rostov, Russia.

[edit] Mana Walker

(マナ・ウォーカー Mana Wōkā?)

Mana Walker
Mana Walker

Seiyū: Fumihiko Tachiki

Mana Walker is Allen's foster father. Allen was originally abandoned by his biological parents because of his deformed left hand, which was due to his Innocence. When Mana found Allen, he decided to adopt Allen. After time, Allen had formed a very strong bond with Mana. When Mana died, Allen was devastated. For Allen, Mana was like his father so he mourned for him. The Millennium Earl came to a grieving Allen after Mana died and offered to bring him back to life. Of course, as Allen had loved him, he accepted. Mana was then turned into an Akuma and infuriated at Allen's actions, cursed Allen by cutting the boy's left eye. He was quickly destroyed by Allen's awakened anti-Akuma weapon. Before his Akuma form got destroyed, he told Allen that he loves him, and thanked Allen for righting the wrong he had committed. He makes much more appearances in the anime version. His face has never been seen.

There is some speculation among fans that Mana's soul lives within Allen's eye, which is shown in Vol. 4 and episode 21, when a skull appears out of Allen's eye, which is followed with a flash-back with Mana. In the anime, Mana's voice sounds the same to that of the skull in Allen's eye.

[edit] Yoshi

(ヨッシー Yosshī?)

Yoshi on Komui's mug as it shatters
Yoshi on Komui's mug as it shatters

The bunny that pops up around the story most of the time. This character, like Komui, is patterned after Katsura's editor. He is used to personify the author, and appears on Komui's favorite coffee mug. In the anime, Komui has flying bombs that look like Yoshi.
