Lake Athletic / Greater South Shore / Northwest Crossroads

The Greater South Shore conference will be formed beginning with the 2007–2008 school year; it will be composed of the following Lake Athletic conference members:

  • River Forest
  • South Central (Union Mills)
  • Wheeler
  • Whiting

South Central (Union Mills) will compete as a conference member in football only as Michigan City Marquette does not offer that sport.

The Northwest Crossroads conference will be formed beginning with the 2007–2008 school year; it will be composed of the following Lake Athletic conference members:

  • Hobart
  • Kankakee Valley
  • Lowell
  • Munster
Blue Chip / Pocket

Forest Park, currently a Blue Chip conference member, will join the Pocket Athletic conference beginning with the 2007–2008 school year.
