List of family-owned newspapers in the United States
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
List of family owned newspapers in the United States is just that - a list of family owned newspapers in the United States. At one time, just about all news papers in the United States were family owned. However, to be in the list below, the newspaper presently must be family owned and that newspaper must be based in the United States (but may be delivered outside of the United States).
- The Columbia Daily Tribune, Columbia, Missouri - family owned since 1905
- The Free Lance–Star, Fredericksburg, Virginia — family owned since 1926
- Town Topics, Princeton, New Jersey — family owned since 1946
- "East Oregonian Publishing Co..", Oregon & Washington papers, family owned.
