List of delicacies
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A delicacy is a food that is particularly prized within a given culture. Delicacies are often rare foods that are difficult to obtain or prepare, and as a result may only be served for special occasions. Often the rarity or difficulty to prepare of a dish causes it to be comparatively expensive to other local foods.
This is a List of national delicacies. This list is sorted from where the food originated from. Many of these dishes may be normal to one culture, however to other cultures may seem bizarre.
