The Australian distributor "Coca Cola Amatil Ltd." has Coke as its principal shareholder with 28.8% ownership. The company also operates in New Zealand; throughout the Pacific Islands; Philippines; Indonesia and Korea.
Most of the business and bottlers related to Coke in Mexico are run by FEMSA ('Fomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.', i.e. Mexican Economic Foment), the biggest bottler & beer brewer in Latin America and Mexico. Coca-Cola Company of the USA owns 39% currently. FEMSA owns:
- Cervecería Cuahutémoc-Moctezuma - The biggest bottler of beer in Latin America. This business unit sells the Sol (English translation: 'Sun') brand of beer overseas. It is a competitor of Corona, which is brewed by Grupo Modelo. The business was originally founded by the Nuevo León's wealthy family: Garza-Sada.
- FAMOSA Fábricas Monterrey, manufacturer of bottles and enveloping-related business area. FAMOSA provides bottles to the Miller Brewing Company in the USA.
- FEMSA Logistica: it carries out the logistics of all the group.
FEMSA produces in its soda business: Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light (equivalent to the American/Canadian Diet-Coke), Sprite, Diet Sprite, Fanta, Delaware Punch, Lift (apple flavour soda), Schweppes, Powerade, Ciel (Sprinkle water), Ciel Mineral (Mineral sprinkle water), Fresca (grapefruit soda), Senzao (brazilian guarana soda), Kuat, Quatro, Kin, Beat, Mundet (regional apple soda),Joya (regional soda with different flavours) Crush, Hi-C, Extrapoma (another apple soda), Etiqueta Azul, Te Nestea, Adventures.
