[edit] Bart Junior (the frog)

Only seen and mentioned on the Simpsons once, Bart Junior is a frog caught by Bart Simpson and kept as a pet. When Bart and Lisa's school was segregated by gender, Bart commented that he could now walk down the hall with Bart Junior "hanging out." He then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a frog which he identifies as "Bart Junior". The frog states (through subtitles) that he thought Bart was talking about his penis.

[edit] Bart Junior (the lizard)

Bart Junior was one of Bart's two lizards which he mothered in "Bart the Mother" (season 10). After he shot a bird at Nelson's house.

First appearance Homer's Odyssey
Voice actor None

Blinky is a three eyed fish featured primarily in the 1990 episode "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish". Blinky was briefly seen in one of the first full length episodes of the series; Homer's Odyssey. Blinky, (or rather, some other non-eaten member of his species) has made a variety of other cameo appearances since then, such as "Homer's Paternity Coot". This has been done as a recurring joke about the environmental effects of Mr. Burns's power plant; including an appearance as a highly mutated humanoid form.

In the episode Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish, he was caught by Bart Simpson. Mr. Burns defends the fish, saying that it's the next step in evolution, rather than having been mutated by toxic waste pouring out of the sewers and into the river from the nuclear plant. Mr. Burns later goes to the Simpsons' house for a meal to help his race for governor. Marge serves Blinky for dinner. Mr. Burns spits the fish out and loses the election to Mary Bailey.

[edit] Trivia

  • Blinky is the file save icon in all versions of The Simpsons Hit & Run.
  • Blinky is one of the tokens for the Simpsons Monopoly.
  • Professional wrestler CM Punk has a tattoo of a three eyed koi fish in honor of Blinky.

[edit] Chirpy Boy

Chirpy Boy was one of two lizards that Bart mothered in Bart the Mother (season 10).

[edit] Cinnamon

Cinnamon was Marge's childhood pet guinea pig, who died after chewing through an extension cord. Mentioned by Marge when Snowball II dies in the episode I, D'oh-Bot. It is also the name of a rat, amongst many others, being forced out of the nuclear power plant by Chief Wiggum in preparation for the Olympics.

[edit] Control Hamster

In Season 1 episode "Bart the Genius", Bart cheats his way to be in a school with no boundaries; at which a legitimate student is running a test with one hamster which has a staphylococci virus and another with no virus 'the control'.

[edit] Coyote (Homer's Spirit Guide)

Homer's Spirit Guide
Homer's Spirit Guide

Homer's Spirit Guide is a coyote who appears in the 1997 episode "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)". Homer first encounters him during a hallucinatory trip caused by Guatemalan chili peppers (grown by inmates of an insane asylum) that he ate at a chili cookoff. Homer starts to question if Marge really is his soulmate, and the coyote makes him realize that he must improve his relationship with Marge. He also tries to gnaw on Homer's leg, citing the reason (when he is kicked away) that he is still a coyote. His voice is supplied by legendary singer Johnny Cash.

[edit] The Tortoise

Another creature encountered during Homer's "spirit journey," the tortoise was supposed to lead Homer to the place where all his questions would be answered. The tortoise went too slow for Homer, so he gave it a helpful (and violent) kick in the direction it was going, and then ran after it. The tortoise then wordlessly instructed Homer to climb a small platform that turned into a giant pyramid when Homer took his first step towards it. Homer asked, "This is because I kicked you, isn't it?" The tortoise just nodded with a smug look on its face.

[edit] Duncan (Furious D)

Bart jockeys Duncan (Furious D).
Bart jockeys Duncan (Furious D).

Duncan (renamed Furious D at an attempt to give him a tougher look) was Homer and Bart's racehorse in the 2000 episode "Saddlesore Galactica." Duncan's original job was as a stunt animal, trained to jump into a pool from a diving board (although he was forced to and did not participate willingly). Homer then bought the horse and started training him as a racehorse. As Duncan didn't do well (he raced towards the finish line when the race was already over), Homer and Bart decided to give him a bit more attitude. They accomplished this by dying his hair, giving him a nose-ring (among other accessories), and changing his name to "Furious D" (a parody of Dennis Rodman). Although Homer was threatened by the other jockeys (who took him to their world—the pixie world), Furious D still won the race and was allowed to go into retirement as a stud.

[edit] Esquilax

An esquilax is a fictional animal that was described by The Simpsons' character Chief Clancy Wiggum as a legendary chimera, a horse bearing a head of a rabbit and a body of a rabbit.

In the episode "Lisa's Wedding," Lisa visits a medieval-themed fair run by the townsfolk. In a stall run by Chief Wiggum, named Friar Wiggum's Fantastical Beastarium, Lisa is shown a live esquilax—which is in fact just a regular rabbit.

The esquilax "gallops" away and Lisa chases after it. Although it has nothing to do with the main plot of the episode, at the end of the episode, she finds it (it literally jumps into her arms) and takes it back to the carnival.

[edit] Fantastipotamus

A fantastipotamus is a fictional animal mentioned in the episode "Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder." Ron Howard's daughter claims that they will only sing twice per day. This is a joke about the opportunities that the rich and famous have, ("we don't go to the regular zoo").

Furious George

[edit] Furious George

Furious George is a monkey owned by Mr. Burns who was injured in a monkey knife fight started by Homer. His name is a play on the fictional monkey character, Curious George. He appears in "The Mansion Family," a 2000 episode from the eleventh season.

[edit] Goldfish

Though rarely seen, the Simpson family apparently own two unnamed goldfish. In "Lisa Gets an "A"" Homer poured a large amount of salt in their tank for his lobster Pinchy, almost killing them, much to Lisa's chagrin. In "I, D'oh-Bot" Snowball III drowned in their tank while attempting to eat them.

[edit] Hamster Number One

In Season 1 episode "Bart the Genius", Bart cheats his way to be in a school with no boundaries; at which a legitimate student is running a test with one hamster which has a staphylococci virus 'Hamster number two" and another with no virus 'the control'

[edit] Jub-Jub

Jub-Jub with Selma
Jub-Jub with Selma

First Appearance: Selma's Choice

Jub-Jub is Selma Bouvier's pet iguana, although he was originally owned by Aunt Gladys. Gladys gave Jub-Jub to Selma, Patty, and Marge's mother Jackie, who was highly unattached to it. She then passed it on to Selma. Selma once said that Jub-Jub will eat her remains upon her passing (probably a reference to an urban legend about Vivian Vance and her cats). Jub-Jub is always trying to eat dead things, and once it almost ate Selma's foot, because it was asleep. Jub-Jub also likes roaches. There was also an interesting quote from the Video Game Simpsons Hit and Run; after Homer wins a driving course, Selma says, "This is pitiful. I'm going to feed your license to Jub-Jub."

The name Jub-Jub was coined by then-writer Conan O'Brien. He often said nonsensical things around the office for no apparent reason, one of which was "Jub-Jub".

Most likely a reference to the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, in which the narrator warns his son to "Beware the Jubjub bird."

Robert Kane-Vaziri of heavy metal outfit Black Dawn has a pet iguana named Jub Jub.

[edit] Laddie

Laddie being awarded a medal.

Laddie is a collie owned by Bart in "The Canine Mutiny." He was a parody of Lassie. Bart ordered him out of a magazine using a fake credit card. He was designed to be the ultimate dog, able to use a flushing toilet and perform multiple household chores. His charm quickly won the hearts of the whole family. When Bart's credit card went unpaid, the repo man came to take the dog away. Bart lied and said that Santa's Little Helper was the dog he ordered. Santa's Little Helper was taken to the pound instead of Laddie. Eventually, Bart felt guilty because of that and then decided to give him away to the police force and try to recover Santa's Little Helper.

[edit] Mojo

Mojo
Mojo

Mojo was Homer Simpson's helper monkey who appeared in the ninth season episode "Girlie Edition." He eventually adopts Homer's unhealthy lifestyle and becomes very obese.

Always in search of new ways to be more lazy, Homer decides to use his enfeebled father (who thought he was getting the monkey to eat it) in order to qualify for the services of the highly trained and intelligent Mojo, whom he basically intends to use as a Simian slave. Mojo, however, soon realizes this — as well as the fact he prefers Homer's sedentary lifestyle to the job he has been trained to perform. In one incident, Homer sends Mojo to steal doughnuts from the shop and bring them back to him. Mojo steals the doughnuts, but then eats them himself, which leads to a scolding from Homer.

All the doughnuts and other aspects of Homer's lifestyle soon take their toll on Mojo, and he becomes bloated and lethargic. Because of poor health of Mojo, Marge becomes upset with Homer, who tries to show her that Mojo is still agile with a pathetic dance by the monkey that ends with Mojo wheezing and collapsing. Seeing he is no longer of any use and not wanting to have to potentially answer for a dead monkey, Homer returns Mojo to the lab, dropping him off anonymously at the door. The lab attendant, alarmed by Mojo's condition, hands him a keyboard to type what was wrong. He enters "PRAY…FOR…MOJO!"

[edit] Mr. Mooch

Nelson's cat in the episode The Haw-Hawed Couple whose eyes were runny.

[edit] Nibbles

Nibbles is a hamster that appears in "Skinner's Sense of Snow". After Principal Skinner gets captured by the school kids in a sack, he tries to use Nibbles as a last resort of getting help by placing him in a plastic ball with a note and releasing him in hope that someone might find him and read the note.

[edit] Pinchy

Homer Simpson gets a pet lobster, Pinchy, in the episode "Lisa Gets an "A"."Homer first took Pinchy with the intention of raising and then eating him; however, when Pinchy had finally grown old enough to be eaten Homer had become too attached to him. Pinchy eventually dies, being boiled to death by the hot bath Homer had drawn for him. Homer eats Pinchy, weeping inconsolably, and refuses to share because "He (Pinchy) would have wanted it this way." While eating Pinchy, Homer says "I wish Pinchy were here to enjoy this."

[edit] Princess

Princess with Lisa
Princess with Lisa

Princess was Lisa's pony. Homer bought her for Lisa, hoping to regain her love again after he disappointed her one time too many. The pony was expensive ($5000 just for her basic needs), so Homer had to get a second job at the Kwik-E-Mart along with his job at the nuclear power plant. Lisa realized what Homer had to sacrifice for the pony, so she gave up Princess. Princess appeared in the episode "Lisa's Pony."

[edit] Rosa Barks

Rosa Barks is Dr. Hibbert's pet poodle, who had babies after "making a booty call" to Santa's Little Helper. Her name is a pun on African American civil rights figure Rosa Parks.

[edit] Santa's Little Helper

Main article: Santa's Little Helper

[edit] Snowball I, II, III, Coltrane, and V

[edit] She's The Fastest

She's The Fastest is Santa's Little Helper's girlfriend which he met at the greyhound-track. Evidently they had twenty five puppies i.e. the title of the episode is "Two Dozen and One Greyhounds" (Season 6)

[edit] Snuffy

Snuffy was Lisa's hamster. Little is known of Snuffy beyond an approximate time of death, which was some time prior to the death of Snowball I. In fact, Snuffy's only mention is in Lisa's poem, Meditations on Turning Eight. Lisa has another pet hamster that made minor appearances, notably in an episode where Lisa experiments to see if the hamster can learn quicker than Bart.

[edit] Stampy

The Simpsons character
Stampy
Age Unknown
Gender Male
Hair Color Grey
Job None
Relatives Unknown
First appearance "Bart Gets an Elephant"
Voice actor Mike Judge

Stampy is a rogue elephant first appearing in the episode "Bart Gets an Elephant." In that episode, Bart wins the elephant in a radio contest called "KBBL Wants to Give You Something Stupid." The listener was supposed to take $10,000 cash instead of the elephant (which was a gag prize), but Bart caused a major uproar when he was denied the elephant. KBBL management forced DJs Bill and Marty to give Bart the elephant or else they would be fired and replaced by a machine.

The elephant, named by Bart for his heavy-footed habits, soon causes trouble (and a burning hole in the family wallet). A poacher and ivory dealer, Mr. Blackheart, offers to buy him, but the Simpsons decide to give him to a wildlife reserve after Stampy rescues Homer from drowning in a tar pit.

Stampy is alluded to in other episodes. At Apu's wedding, Bart sees Apu riding an elephant. Bart comments "I wish I had an elephant." "You did," Lisa replies. "His name was Stampy. You loved him." to which Bart simply replies, "Oh, yeah." Stampy also turns up in the episode "Large Marge," involved in a gimmick by Krusty the Klown. Stampy also attacks a bear in the final scene of "The Fat and the Furriest."

Stampy enjoys putting people in his mouth and is especially fond of peanuts. He is also very aggressive against other elephants, as was seen when he is first brought to the wildlife reserve.

[edit] Stewart

Stewart is a small duck who works for Mr. Burns. His main job at the plant is to tug around a small wagon carrying a glowing uranium rod, which requires his to wear a hardhat. He is shown to lack "team spirit" when he pecks on the head of a passed-out coworker.

[edit] Super-Dude

Super-dude is a hamster which led Springfield Elementary to short lived fortune in "Who Shot Mr Burns Part 1". Principal Skinner insisted Grounds Keeper Willie "give him a proper burial and air out the class room". When Grounds Keeper Willie was digging a hole for super-dude he struck oil which started a series of events in "Who Shot Mr Burns Part 1" (Season 6)

[edit] The Raven

In the first Tree House of Horror episode (Season 2), Bart is a Raven which torments Homer. The skit is a send-up on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe titled "The Raven"

[edit] Everyone

In "Treehouse of Horror XIII", Dr. Hibbert turns everyone into human/animal hybrids. They include:
