The following is the complete list of Virtual Console titles available for the Wii in Australia and New Zealand sorted by system as listed within the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop Channel.

The "PAL Conversion Issues" column indicates whether the title is known to suffer from currently unaddressed NTSC to PAL conversion problems (see issues regarding PAL Wii systems). Games with "Some" have had the borders reduced, but still run at their original, unoptimized speed.

TurboGrafx-16 games will not be available [1] due to the fact that the system was never released in Australia. Currently the only way to get TurboGrafx-16 games in Australia and New Zealand is by changing the country settings in the Wii's settings to a European country. This allows the user to access the European Wii Shop Channel and listed TG-16 games there will be now available for purchase.[2] However, any country change that takes place after downloading the Everybody Votes Channel and the update that comes with it will result in the user forfeiting their current Wii Points balance for every change made upon accessing the Wii Shop.[3]

New games are expected to be released on Fridays in Australia at 10 AM AEST and in New Zealand at 12 PM AEST.[4] Upon release they are announced on Nintendo Australia's website.

A number of upcoming titles can be found in the OFLC Classification Database upon being rated prior to release.[5] However, games rated after the introduction of classification guidelines for video games (from late 1995 onwards) still retain their original rating, and may not appear on the OFLC website as a newly rated game.
