U.S. Route 54 From the Texas-Oklahoma stateline at Texhoma to the Texas-New Mexico stateline near Nara Visa in the northwestern part of the panhandle, and from the Texas-New Mexico stateline near Newman to El Paso.
U.S. Route 57 From the international border near Eagle Pass northeastward to I-35 near Moore.
U.S. Route 59 From the Texas-Arkansas stateline in Texarkana southward to Houston, then southwestward to Laredo.

U.S. Route 366 Texas-New Mexico boundary at Fort Bliss to Texas-Mexico boundary. Replaced by US 70 (above) in 1932. Currently Business US 54.
U.S. Route 70 Replaced US 366 (below) in 1932 along route from Texas-New Mexico boundary at Fort Bliss to Texas-Mexico boundary. Was itself replaced by US 54 in 1934, and currently Business US 54.
U.S. Route 370 Bowie to Claude. Replaced in 1939 by US 287.
U.S. Route 80N Metcalf Gap to Abilene from 1932 to 1934. Current replacements are US 180 and SH 351
U.S. Route 380 Oklahoma boundary at Higgins to Amarillo. Comfort to Texas-New Mexico boundary at Texline. Replaced by US 87 in 1935.
U.S. Route 96 Rosenberg to Brownsville. Replaced by US 59 in 1939.
