List of The Legend of Dragoon locations

The Legend of Dragoon takes place on the Continent of Endiness, which is a landmass on an unnamed planet with one moon. It contains four countries: Serdio, Tiberoa, Mille Seseau, and Gloriano, and the Death Frontier, a desertlike region which has never been seen by humans at the beginning of the game.

[edit] Serdio
- Seles is second home of Dart and hometown of Shana. Seles is attacked in the beginning of the game under the orders of Emperor Doel to find the Moon Child. The village remains in ruins during the pairs' journey however the villagers do attempted to repair the damage. Dart and Shana return after their adventure to assist in the rebuilding.
- Hellena Prison is a prison used by Sandora to house POWs and criminals. Notable prisoners include Shana, Lavitz and King Albert. It is run by the incredibly fat and sadistic Warden Fruegel. Fruegel is fought twice, both times during the rescue of a party member.
- Prairie makes up a large portion of the land between Seles and the mountians dividing Serdio. At least one woodcutter lives in this expanse. There are connections to Bale, Seles and the road to Kazas.
- Limestone Cave is a cave which connects the northern part of Serdio to the southern part. Dart, Shana, and Lavitz to travel through this cave in order to get to Bale. A stream runs though it and it also contains fireflies known to possess healing properties. A monsterous snake was known to live deep inside.
- The Duchy of Basil is the name of the northern portion of Serdio. The city of Bale is the capital and it is also the location of King Albert's Indels Castle. Lavitz also lives in Bale.
- Hoax is the bordertown between Sandora and Basil. Because of the heavy assaults it undergoes from Sandora, it has acquired characteristics of a fortress and is under constant occupation of the Knights of Basil. While Dart, Lavitz, and Shana are staying there, the town is attacked by Sandora. It is also the location where Dart first unleashes the power of the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit. While heavily damaged, Hoax is still occupied after the attack.
- Marshland is a strange swampland. The location of the 7th Knighthood fortress is set in this place as well. However by the time the party arrives, it is already overrun and ransacked by Doel's troops and the dragon Feyrbrand. The fortress is abandoned after this attack as the 7th Knighthood was destroyed.
- Volcano Villude is a twisting path through molten lava and across high cliffs. This area is also terrorized by a gigantic flaming bird, Piton. There is also an ancient evil buried in one of the lava flows. A member of the last species, Virage, returns to life due to the dragoon's presence for an ambush attack. However it may have also been responding to something else.
- Lohan is an Arabian-themed "trade city." There are several shops and hotels located in the commercial city along with the vendor Dabas. The Hero Competition is also based out of Lohan. The city is considered neutral.
- Kazas is the capital of Sandora and also the location of Emperor Doel's Black Castle. Unlike Bale, it is under military occupation. A large slum area can be found in an abandoned fort by the castle. Emperor Doel's researchers were experimenting with a dragon and the Black Castle contained advanced techology compared to Bale. It was likely the researchers were experimenting with electricity.
- The Dragon's Nest is another swampland. This is the site of Lavitz's encounter with his father's former bestfriend turned killer, Greham. The Dragon's Nest covered the forest with a poison that affected those weak of constitution such as Shana. At the bottom, however, there was a fresh spring free of contamination.
- Shrine Of Shirley was a peculiar ancient temple maze with rollercoaster rides. Protected by the thief Drake, it is the home to the soul of the original owner of the White Silver Dragoon Spirit, Shirley. It is unknown if the shrine was originally dedicated to Shirley or if it gained that title after Shirley's ghost inhabited the place.
[edit] Tiberoa
- Fletz is the location of the Twin Castle. King Zoir rules from this capital along with his two daughters, Princess Emile and Princess Lisa. While being a seaside city, it does not contain a port. Fletz is home to numerous telescopes and is the center for astronomy and astrology.
- Donau is a seaside town. Known as the flower city, it is decorated with flowers and plants. The town is under occupation by the Gerich Gang until they are chased out of town. Donau is the location of Tibernoa's only port and is the home of the Queen Fury.
- Valley of Corrupted Gravity was the location of a huge battle during the Dragon Campaign. The combined effects of magic caused by the Dragoons, Virage and Winglies distorted the gravity of the valley. The valley no longer listened to the laws of physics. The corruption has lasted over 11,000 years. Hidden in the valley is a dormant Virage as well the path to the Gigantos. An army outpost is located at the entrance and royal permission is required to enter.
- Home of Gigantos is the ruins of the last Gigantos city in Tibernoa and potentially Endiness. The city was ravaged by humans and left Kongol the only survivor. Doel travelled though the ruins many years ago and found Kongol. The Gerich Gang has currently taken over the ruins.
- Lidiera is a small fishing village built from broken ships. It's only notiable feature is the controls for the flood gate inside the Undersea Cavern.
- Undersea Cavern contains a path to Prison Island. Lenus and Lloyd meet here and the water dragon Regole appears to have made the island his lair.
- Fueno is a small village known for its hotsprings. It does contain a port large enough to service the Queen Fury. It is located on a small island off the coast of Tibernoa.
- The Barrens makes up a large portion of Tibernoa. Dart's dragoon stone is stolen by a bandit named Mappi in this place. A large desert area, some in Fletz hope to rehabiliate it into a green paradise. It connects Fletz with Donau and the Valley of Corrupted Gravity.
[edit] Mille Seseau
- Furni is the port city for Mille Seseau. It is connected by cannals and contains a knight outpost. Unlike the rest of Mille Seseau, Furni has a mild climate and never freezes.
- Evergreen Forest is a beautiful forest outside Furni. Hidden inside is the path to the Wingly Forest as well as the path to Mortal Dragon Mountain.
- Mountain Of Mortal Dragon was the prison of the Divine Dragon. After its escape, the Dragon makes the mountain his lair.
- Deningrad is the capital of Mille Seseau. Located at its center is the Crystal Palace. Once the wingly birth city, the Crystal Palace contains a functioning Signet Sphere. The city is also the capital for the Divine Tree religion and the home of the National Library.
- Neet was destroyed by the Black Monster and has been left as ruins. A memorial is located in the town dedicated to those who perished. It was the hometown of Dart and Luanne.
- Kashua Glacier is a large ice formation to the west of Deningrad. Contained within is the functioning remains of Flanvel Tower and the Divine Moon Mirror. The Wingly Wizard Faust plots world domination inside a hidden portion of the tower however his dreams never come to fluition.
- The Snowfield makes up the west portion of Mille Seseau. The only thing it contains is the remains of Fort Magrad, an abandoned human settlement dating to the Dragon Campaign.
- Forest Of Winglies is one of the last home to the Winglies. It contains technology vastly superior to the rest of Endiness and is powered by plant lifeforce. Meru is from this community.
- The Forbidden Land is the remains of Wingly Capital Kadessa which was destroyed by the Dragoons during the Dragon Campaign. The same magic corruption in Tibernoa resides in the ruins. Both the Dragon Buster and Dragon Block Staff were sealed inside however the Dragon Buster was stolen long ago. A dormant Virage is also sealed inside along with many memories.

- The capital of the human race's stronghold at Gloriano was Vellweb. Both Holy Emperor Diaz's palace and the Dragoon Towers were located here. The capital was abandoned shortly after the Dragon Campaign. A large mechanical crossbow can be found in the ruins. It was used to shoot down wingly cities.
[edit] Death Frontier
- Death Frontier is mostly desert spected with oasis. It is full of sinkholes which lead to underground caverns.
- Spring Breath Town Ulara is the home of the Winglies who followed Charle Frahma. The winglies inside have made themselves immortal as punishment for the wingly deads. They also protect the true secret of the Moon Child. Rose is strongly connected to this town.
- Outland Village of Rouge is Haschel's hometown. Another fishing village, it is unaffliated with any Endiness country but doesn't appear to be part of any other country. The village is located in the Broken Islands.
- Magical City Aglis was the wingly capital of magical research. A signet sphere was located here. The wingly Savan lived inside researching a new signet that could not be broken.
- Law City Zenebatos was the wingly capital of law and justice. A signet sphere was located here. The city still functions though the efforts of magic-powered robots however they are trapped in an endless loop, proposing and passing the same legistature even though there is no one left to carry it out.
- Death City Mayfil was the wingly capital of death. It was supposed to have been rendered functionless during the Dragon Campaign. Unfortunatly demons have taken up residence and now play with the souls that gather there. Several previously encountered friends and foes have been drawn to this place.
[edit] Divine Tree
- The Divine Tree is the tree that brought life to Endiness. All species were born from the tree which was sent to Endiness by the goddess Soa. There is at least one species that has yet to be born.
- The Moon That Never Sets is a prominent object in the sky. The most notable feature is that the moon stays stationary in the sky and never moves. The moon houses the body of the God of Destruction and is the site of the final battle with the Wingly dictator, Melbu Frahma. The moon seems to react to those inside of it and its appearance changes to reflect the inner mind.
[edit] Other Locations
- Queen Fury is the flagship of Tiberoa. King Zior loans it to Dart and his friends after they save Princess Emille and the country.
- The Phantom Ship was a ship attacked by the Black Monster eighteen years prior to the events of the game. It returns to attack the Queen Fury during its trip to pursue Lenus.
