	A young boy, Dwayne, discovers he was affected by the Big Bang. He has the power to bring his imagination to life. His older brother, Aron, decides to exploit this power for his own benefit. Dwayne finally stops when Aron is tricked by Static into saying something about Dwayne that he should not have.

	Complaining that Richie seems to live at Virgil's house, Richie finally invites Virgil to stay the night at his, believing that his dad is not going to be home that night. Unfortunately, he gets home early, and it is revealed that Mr. Foley is a racist, and dislikes African-Americans. When Virgil leaves, Richie yells at his father and runs away from home, getting himself captured by Ebon. It takes the combined efforts of Static, Mr. Foley, and Mr. Hawkins to save Richie. Afterwards, Mr. Hawkins scolds Static, asking if his parents knew where he was.

	Richie's tendency to live vicariously through Static starts to get on Virgil's nerves when he shows him his newest invention: The ZapCap, a device designed to be an electric bomb. After yelling and screaming, Virgil and Richie finally decide to no longer be friends. Meanwhile, a heavyset Dakota bully begins exhibiting wind-based powers. He creates a costume (probably robbing the city of all its brightly colored spandex), and becomes a villain known as Slipstream.

	Escaped from jail, Rubberbandman takes on a new persona as "Stringer," a rapper who is dating Virgil's sister, Sharon. When Static figures out it's him, Rubberbandman has to go on the run again, and blames Static for ruining everything. He attacks Static and unmasks him, but before he can look, Puff and Onyx, metahumans who decided to become bounty hunters for the cash, intervene. Rubberbandman escapes, as does Static. After hiding from Virgil by disguising himself as a chair and a vacuum cleaner (which can't be rolled because "wheels are hard" to make, he finally turns himself in to serve the rest of his time in jail.

	Starved for attention, the son of Edwin Alva, Edwin Alva Jr., does whatever he can to earn his father's respect, even going so far as to discover a method to control the effects of the Big Bang fluid that first caused the Big Bang. However, Alva completely dismisses the kid, causing him to become angry. Trying to get even, he dons a suit with several pockets filled with Big Bang fluid that has been altered to give him specific powers when he pops and inhales them. Calling himself Omnifarious, he encounters Static when attempting to sink one of his father's boats. He uses X-Ray vision to see through Static's mask, then later identifies who he is. He sends a threatening phone call to Virgil, warning him to stay out if he wants his identity to remain a secret. Static tells Alva Sr. what his son is doing, and Alva attempts to stop him. In the end, Jr. releases all the Big Bang gas at once, which overloads him and turns him into stone.

	While battling a metahuman capable of duplicating himself a freak accident permits Replay to make a copy of Static himself. The doppleganger proceeds to ruin Static's name, even attacking Richie while robbing an ATM. The entire city (who suddenly has the power to effectively fight metahumans where they didn't before) declares Static to be public enemy number one, while the real Static fights to restore his good name. Richie, still believing Static to be evil, reluctantly helps Virgil by using his shockvox to trace the location of the doppleganger's shockvox. While doing battle with the intruder at a TV station, Richie arrives, training a camera on the two while they battle, clearing Static's name on live TV.

	A purple monstrosity (not unlike The Incredible Hulk), goes on several rampages through the city. Thomas Kim, a student who is upset over a 99 in a class instead of a 100, is suspected by Virgil and Richie as being the creature. When they confront him, he goes berserk, transforming into the beast and chasing after them. Static lures Kim away from potentially damagable areas until he calms down and reverts to human form. Last episode of season 1.

	(guest stars Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean as himself) Adam is on the verge of signing a major recording deal until a bang baby named Replikon becomes jealous of his new found success and kidnaps and imprersonates A.J. in order to steal Adam's recording deal. Frieda and Daisy are busy working on updating the class website which includes a piece on How music has an impact on popular culture. They use the Backstreet Boys as an example. Richie and Virgil suspect that Frieda and Daisy are just using the class website as an excuse to write about the Backstreet Boys.

	A new boy at Dakota High school named Jimmy Osgood is being bullied and humiliated by a bunch of kids at school. Jimmy becomes depressed, suicidal, and has only thoughts of revenge on the kids who were making his life at school so miserable. It finally gets to the point that Jimmy steals his father's gun and brings it to school, threatening Nick, the leader of the bullies, with it. Frieda and Richie manage to talk Jimmy out of hurting anyone, but then accidentally shoots Richie in the leg.

	Lured by Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, a young metahuman girl who calls herself "Nails" travels to Gotham City, hoping to find a cure. Instead, she found two supervillains ready to exploit her powers for their personal gain. With Batman's help (as Robin is away with "The Titans"), the two manage to defeat Harley and Ivy, and Nails returns to Dakota to seek a real cure.

	Richie's recent inventing binge starts to worry Virgil a bit, as he starts to come up with more and more advanced technology. When he answers a seemingly-impossible math problem in only three seconds in front of the whole class, aces his Chemistry exam, and invents rocket-powered rollerblades and a robotic backpack, Virgil theorizes that Richie has become a Bang Baby, infected by Virgil's clothes following the Big Bang incident. Less than thrilled, Richie complains that he can't "think them [the bad guys] into submission." Meanwhile, Ebon theorizes that Virgil is Static, and kidnaps him in civilian form, keeping a security camera on him. Donning his backpack, rollerblades, and a few containment units known as "ZapCap II's," he takes out Shiv, Kangor, and Talon, and rescues Static, while Backpack alters the camera image so Ebon doesn't see Virgil change. Static then takes out the Metabreed, and they return to the Abandoned Gas Station of Solitude. After some deliberation, Richie and Virgil agree that he should be called "Gear."

	Static and Gear go toe-to-toe with a destructive monstrous metahuman who seems to be taking revenge on everyone who angered a well-known bully at school. But are Static and Gear right in guessing who the monster really is, or are they chasing the wrong suspect?

	A cosmic string strikes the Watchtower of the Justice League, draining them of their power, and sending them hurtling towards Earth. Meanwhile, Static and Gear are engaged with in a battle with Puff's group, "The Metamen." However, just when it seemed the two were outmatched, the Justice League appears and mops the floor with them. Batman explained that Static was needed in the watchtower, and after begging, Gear was permitted to come along as well. Static recharged the battery of the Watchtower, and was about to be sent home. However, a distress signal was picked up, and the League had to take off, leaving Static and Gear alone in the Watchtower. After a series of events that nearly wipe out Static and Gear, it is learned that Brainiac has taken over the Watchtower computers. Gear contacts the league to tell them that the distress signal was a fake, and the league turns around. Batman tells Static to drain the energy he put into the Watchtower. Brainiac resists, but Gear hooks Backpack to the Watchtower computer and downloads the same song millions of times, slowing Brainiac down. His last words were, "Lay the funk down." After Static and Gear returned to Earth, Virgil went home, and Richie was attacked by Brainiac, who had downloaded himself into Backpack without Gear knowing it. Part 1 of 2. (Superman and Wonder Woman do not make appearances in this episode.)

	Richie has been acting strangely lately, unemotional and cold. Meanwhile, the league discovers there was a huge download from their system's computers, and The Flash is sent to Earth to find Gear to check out Backpack. When The Flash never reports back in, the rest of the League comes down to find Static. Static contacts Richie, who tells them to come to an abandoned factory. There, it's revealed that Flash is under mind control by Brainiac. He uses his superspeed to place mind-control disks on all the heroes, but Static's natural electrical field shorts it out. The League is sent out to get Static, but an electrical charge to each of them shorts out the mind-control disks, and the league is restored to their normal mindsets. Static says he heard Richie take control over Brainiac for a few moments and heard him say "control" over and over again. The Martian Manhunter says he heard the same thing telepathically. Batman sends Static away because he's too close to Gear to be objective, but Static figures out what Richie meant by "control." He returns to the Gas Station of Solitude and located the remote control that Gear uses to control Backpack. Returning to Brainiac, who has now built a massive robot that assimilates the planet's structures, turning them into data, he tells Batman that he knows how to defeat Brainiac. Batman and Static go in together, but are captured by Brainiac (Richie) himself and the remote is taken. Static zaps the remote and shuts off Backpack, shutting off Brainiac in the process as well. Richie is saved, and Brainiac appears to be gone for good.

	When a sleezy TV producer, Bernie Rast, wants to make a TV show about Static, it drives a wedge between Static, who acts as a show off for the camera, and Gear, who is jealous of all the attention Static is getting. But when a new metahuman with more powerful electromagnetic powers shows up Static on live TV multiple times, Static and Gear have to put aside their arguing to come up with a solution.

	Daisy gets hurt in a fight between Puff, Onyx and Static and falls into a coma. Statics blames himself, because he tried to show off instead of concentrating on her safety. Consumed by his anger he tries to hunt down the two villians, destroying everything in his way. Rubber Band Man succeeds in cooling him down, since both of them have to stop Puff and Onyx, who have gone rampage to drive Static's anger to the top.
	"Romeo in the Mix"	?	Writer: Len Uhley Story: Rhonda Smiley	2003-04-19	34
	Bernie Rast convinces Lil Romeo (voiced by himself) to make a music video in Dakota, promising his favorite superhero, Static, will be there. But when Lil Romeo dresses in a Static costume for the video, he is mistakenly captured by the Leech, a power-absorbing metahuman who has been kidnapping Bang Babies all over the city to absorb their abilities temporarily. Static, Lil Romeo, and Gear have to rescue the other Bang Babies and put the Leech behind bars for good.
	"Trouble Squared"	Dave Chlystek	Christopher Simmons	2003-04-26	35
	Speccs and Trapper are hired by Alva to do grunt work on the research project to cure his son. Unsatisfied with this, the two young genius decide to develop combat suites to catch Static for their employer. The nearly suceed, but in the battle a lot of the research equipment is destroyed. Speccs and Trapper get fired and kidnapp Alva Jr. to blackmail their former boss, who now needs the help of Static to get his son back.

	(features characters from Superman: The Animated Series) Static teams up with Superman when the Man of Steel’s old nemesis, Toy Man, appears in Dakota. This Static Shock episode was to resolve some loose ends on one of the show's episode Obsession.

	She-Bang returns to Dakota and follows Static and Gear to the Gas Station of Solitude. She enlists their help in locating her parents, who have mysteriously gone missing in the wake of a large villain capable of absorbing matter to strengthen himself.

	A new metahuman, Nina Crocker, seeks out the help of Static and Gear to control her powers. She's able to move backwards and forwards through time, but can't control when or how it happens. When Gear invents a device that puts her powers under control, the remote is stolen by Ebon. Static accidentally burns out the circuits and sends them all back several years to the Dakota gang riots where Virgil meets face-to-face with his late mother.

	Supposedly taking place between "In a League of their Own" parts I and II, Static reluctantly teams up with a retired electricity-manipulating hero from the sixties, Soul Power, to defeat an old-time villian, Dr. Menace. Static doesn't see eye-to-eye with Soul Power's methods, nor his outdated campy style.

	After capture at the hands of Static and Gear, Aquamaria agrees to be given the experimental cure for the mutagenic gas that transformed her into a Bang Baby. However, Hotstreak sabotages the process, causing her to become unstable and unable to solidify her form. In an angry rage, she threatens all of Dakota City. This is the first reference to the cure for the "bang baby syndrome" next seen in Power Outage.

	A former employee of Alva Industries, Omnara was charged with the task of discovering Static's identity. However, she was fired by Alva when he no longer had any need to learn his identity, following the events of "No Man's an Island." Now she uses this information to blackmail Static into stealing parts from Alva industries to complete her master plan: total control over all technology. This episode features a brief battle between Static and Gear.

	All the Bang Babies, including Static and Gear, are exposed to the cure for the mutagenic gas that altered them in the beginning. Several of the Bang Babies break into a lab to steal the original gas, and the ensuing battle restored the powers of Static, Gear, Hotstreak, and Ebon. Ebon and Hotstreak merge into a massive shadow-flame creature, that was presumably defeated in battle. It is unknown what other Bang Babies were hit by the second big bang. Series finale.

	Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern chase Chronos to the past, where they team up with some of the greatest DC heroes of the Old West. After defeating stolen future tech in that era, they again follow Chronos to the future. Warhawk from the Batman Beyond era is revealed to be Green Lantern and Hawkgirl's son. Guest starring: Bat-Lash, Jonah -Hex and other DC Characters from the old west. This episode also teases with the idea of Wonder Woman and Batman having a relationship.
	"The Once and Future Thing, Part 2: Time Warped"	Joaquim dos Santos	Dwayne McDuffie	2005-01-29	13
	Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman’s chase Chronos into the future Gotham City of Batman Beyond, just in time to face a battle with a group of Jokerz beside that era's Justice League. The time travelers are taken to the Justice League Unlimited refuge. An older Bruce Wayne reveals the street gang they fought together was enhanced by Chronos who lead them to kill the rest of the League of that era. The combined heroes defeat the retooled Jokerz, and Batman traps Chronos in a time loop, right before he started his first time travel. This episode has homages to Crisis On Inifite Earths. The only place in the JLU universe in which Hal Jordan appears as Green Lantern.
