[edit] Endurance

The N.R.S. Endurance was an Endurance-class fleet carrier — was the first of its class. The Endurance's main asset was its compliment of a dozen squadrons of starfighters: E-wings and X-wings.

It was part of the fleet sent by General Wedge Antilles to take Orinda from the remnants of the Galactic Empire sometime before 16 years after the Battle of Yavin. The General kept the Endurance's starfighter squadrons unlaunched as the fleet carrier went into battle in an effort to preserve the starfighters on board from enemy fire. However, it was subsequently engaged by the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer Reaper, the flagship of the Orinda Defense Fleet and that of Admiral Gilad Pellaeon. It was destroyed with all its starfighters on board.

In the aftermath of the loss of the Endurance, all carriers began protocols to launch all their starfighters at the beginning of combat.

[edit] Goto's Yacht

Goto's Yacht is a starship piloted by Goto, one of the most prominent Exchange crime bosses around Nar Shaddaa in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. His will was dozens of bounty hunter's commands on the urban, unmaintained planet. He always and only presented himself in hologram as a male human with a goatee, projected by a droid named G0-T0 that has striking similarities with the Imperial interrogation droids almost two thousand years later. However, it is revealed later in the game that "Goto" was only a fake identity created by a brilliant droid named G0-T0.

His yacht was a starship, probably of corvette classification and shaped vaguely like the Marauder Corvette, that boasted four double laser cannons and at least one tractor beam projector. It was jet-black and fully operated by droids. It also had a cloaking device that rendered it invisible to his enemies and an extensive communications suite that allowed G0-T0 to manipulate droids all across the galaxy to do his will.

The purpose of the yacht was to prowl around Nar Shaddaa underdetected with its cloak, pinpoint various freighters, tractor them in, hijack them with its complement of onboard security droids, and seize their valuable cargo. The yacht's four double laser cannons served as a deterrent. Afterward, the yacht would engage its cloak and move on.

The yacht had 32 compartments, which included 2 airlocks, 6 holding cells, an audience chamber, communications center, internal security, bridge, and many smaller storage and maintenance rooms. It was manned by a variety of droids: G0-T0 commanders, G0-T0 heavy guardians, G0-T0 guard droids that looked externally identical to the original G0-T0 droid, tiny maintenance droids that repaired damaged droids, and astromech droids similar to IT-32, an astromech found on the surface on Nar Shaddaa itself.

[edit] Guri's Stinger

Guri's stinger is an assault ship belonging to Guri, a bodyguard in the Star Wars universe. Its definitive shape is feared by criminals from Coruscant to the outer rim planets. Guri modified an old Surronian assault ship that was given to her by crime lord Prince Xizor, and currently uses it as her portable base of operations.

The ship itself is roughly 28 metres with a spherical hull. It is powered by four Surrion A2-Grade and four A2.50-Grade ion engines, with sublight speeds surpassing the Republic's X-wings. Under atmospheric conditions it is capable of reaching speeds of up to 1,150Km/h, while the driver has much greater maneuvrability than most ships this size due to the individual adjustment of the ship's exhaust nozels, eliminating the need for maneuvering jets. Guri has installed emergency breaking jets in the forward wings, which are an advantage in firefights. When being pursued she can stop suddenly, allowing the other ship to pass and making it an easy target for the ship's arsenal of ion cannnons and a turret-mounted laser cannon. The ship itself has a Corellian Engineering Corporation H2-1 hyperdrive, giving the ship a class one hyperdrive rating.

The forward compartment contains the cockpit, with room for a pilot and two passengers. There is a small emergency pod just behind this. The stinger's internal Microthrust computer automatically monitors internal systems, rediricting power when needed.

[edit] Hound's Tooth

The Hound's Tooth is a Corellian YV-666 Light Freighter modified for use as an intergalactic brig by the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk. Since Trandoshans are sworn enemies of Wookiees, the Hound's Tooth is equipped with the means to skin Wookiees for their pelts. The Hound's Tooth is a replacement for Bossk's first starship, which was destroyed when Han Solo and Chewbacca landed their ship on top of it while on a rescue mission. The Hound's Tooth is extremely new at the time of the Battle of Hoth, which is when Darth Vader summoned bounty hunters to find Han Solo. Bossk's personal vendetta against Chewbacca is what caused him to take the Hound's Tooth after Han Solo.

The Hound's Tooth holds an approximate Class 2 hyperspace rating. It is armed with multiple concussion missile launchers and lasers. The Hound's Tooth also holds in a small bay an unarmed scout ship, however the scout ship can be equipped with various weapons. The scoutship does not carry a hyperdrive, but it is equipped with a large drone droid that is voice activated and is controlled through the ship's computer. The droid is used for maintenance and for skinning pelts.

Some of the more interesting enhancements to the Hound's Tooth are to the controls systems. To pilot the starship, the pilot's arms are placed in troughs, and then pressure is applied with the arms to various sides of the troughs to control the ship. This differs from the standard joystick-like controls aboard most other starships and was done because Trandoshan limbs are less dexterous than human limbs, and therefore standard controls would be unusable to a Trandoshan. For more information, see Data on the Hound's Tooth.

[edit] Jabitha

The Jabitha was Anakin Skywalker's starship that appeared in the Expanded Universe novel Rogue Planet. Three years after the Battle of Naboo, Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawan Anakin Skywalker travelled to the mysterious living world of Zonama Sekot which was rumoured to be home to the fastest ships in the galaxy. These two Jedi knights discovered that not only were the Zonaman Sekotan ships incredibly fast but that they were also wonderful and beautiful living craft. The Sekotans presented them with one of these ships, which Anakin Skywalker named the Jabitha to honour the Sekotan Magister's daughter. The Jabitha is unique from most ships because it was handcrafted by the master Sekotan shipbuilders.

The Jabitha's life began when its two future masters Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were brought into a large chamber for a special ceremony. This chamber was filled with thousands of tiny spikeballs with some degree of consciousness called "seed partners". These seed partners buried the two Jedi knights. When Anakin and Obi-Wan awoke from their sleep, they learnt that 15 of those seed partners had chosen the Jedi and agreed to become part of their new vehicle. Later, the Jedi were placed inside a handcrafted starship frame, as the living ship was built around them. This resulted in a strange combination if their seed partners with organoform circuits and mechanical components purchased from ship manufactures.

The Jabitha was one of the best Sekotan ships ever created. It was 30 metres long with a broad wingspan. The living ship carried two modified Haor Chall type-7 Silver-class light starship engines as well as an expensive hyperdrive unit. The interior was green, red and blue, shining like a jewel. The controls were unmarked but Anakin's piloting skills and strong Force abilities and connection to the seed partners meant that he could communicate with the ship telepathically. But unfortunately, the living vessel was critically damaged during a battle between Zonama Sekot and Republic commander Tarkin which ended when the living planet retreated into hyperspace. The Jabitha later died at the outpost planet Seline.

[edit] Jade Shadow

The Jade Shadow is the latest starship owned by the New Republic and Jedi knight Mara Jade Skywalker. It is a modified SoroSuub Horizon-Class Star Yacht and is armed with 2 AG-IG laser cannons mounted on small firing arcs with a wide firing range , 2 concealed Dymex HM-8 concussion missile launchers each with a magazine of 8 deadly torpedoes and 1 retractable blaster cannon. All of these weapons are connected to a targeting computer in the cockpit. The Jade Shadow is a replacement of Mara's previous vessel Jade Sabre which was destroyed by the Yuuzhan Vong in Dantooine. Like most star yachts, the Jade Shadow is built around a sturdy frame that is wide at the engines and tapers forward until reaching the narrow triangular cockpit. Han Solo modified the ship so that it could travel as fast as the Millennium Falcon. The Jade Shadow can carry 4 passengers onboard and the total cargo capacity is 95 metric tons. The Jade Shadow can also carry an X-wing starfighter.

[edit] Jaster's Legacy

Jaster's Legacy was a starship owned by Jango Fett. It was named after Jaster Mereel, the former leader of the Mandalorians and the foster father of Jango. In the video game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Jango used this ship until it was damaged beyond repair while attempting to capture a bounty at the prison on Oovo IV. Jango was forced to steal a Firespray-class starship from the prison to escape, which he later named Slave I. The ship can be piloted by one but can hold three passengers. It also can hold a lot of cargo.

[edit] Moldy Crow

The Moldy Crow is a starship in the fictional Star Wars universe.

[edit] Description

The Moldy Crow was the personal starship of mercenary-turned-Jedi Kyle Katarn and his partner Jan Ors. After years of faithful service, the Crow was destroyed when Kyle accidentally crashed it into the Valley of the Jedi in Jedi Knight. After this point it was replaced by its successor, the Raven's Claw. The Crow first appeared in the game Dark Forces.

The Crow is a modified Corellian Engineering Corporation HWK-290 Hawk class light freighter. It has a quartet of fast engines, strong shields and armor, and a pair of laser cannons. What it has in armor and armament is balanced by its poor cargo space, which can only hold 30 metric tons of cargo, and helped to make this ship slightly less popular than CEC's YT-series freighters, specifically the YT-1300. This doesn't stop smugglers and bounty hunters from using it, as it is fast and maneuverable for a freighter, and has enough structure to mount even heavier weapons, shields, and armor.

Little was known about the Moldy Crow until the release of The Dark Forces Saga by Wizards of the Coast in 2005. According to this source, the Moldy Crow was a Corellian Engineering Corporation HWK-290 light freighter and was built approximately nine years before the Battle of Yavin. The size of the Moldy Crow implies a fighter in-game, however, the actual internal space of the Crow is unknown.

[edit] Raven's Claw

Image:Ravens-Claw.jpg#file

The Raven's Claw is the flagship of the famous Jedi Master Kyle Katarn and his partner Jan Ors after their previous ship, the Moldy Crow, was destroyed at the Valley of the Jedi by the Dark Jedi Jerec. The Raven's Claw was first introduced in the game Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and later appeared in the game Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. The Raven's Claw could carry 2 pilots and 8 passengers at once; generally it was Jan Ors who piloted the ship because she was thought to be a better pilot than Kyle Katarn. In Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Jaden Korr takes Jan's place as second pilot.

The "Raven's Claw" is named after the developers of the two games Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, Raven Software and is also thought of as a continuation of Kyle's theme of avian names for his ships, such as the Moldy Crow. They created two models of the ship for different purposes: one model to use for cinematics, which had a high polygon count, and another model to use in-game, which had a lower polygon count.
