List of NHL players with 500 goals

In ice hockey, scoring 500 regular-season goals is considered a highly significant achievement for National Hockey League players. The following is a list of players who have accomplished this feat. At the end of the 2005-06 NHL season, there were a total of 34 players who had done this.

Statistics are as of the last completed NHL regular season (2005-06).

• Three players have scored their 500th goal on an empty net (Wayne Gretzky, Mike Bossy, Jari Kurri).
• Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Patrick Roy, although he retired as the winningest net minder in NHL history, was the victim of an opponent's 500th career goal on three separate occasions: Steve Yzerman in 1996, Joe Mullen in 1997 and Brendan Shanahan in 2002. No other goalie has allowed more than one.
