Lupe in Love

Jake brings and shows his new pet, Orlando, who's a mocking parrot, to Adam. But Adam is having a little trouble trying to get to know him better.

Meanwhile, outside of the school, Lupe and her gothic/punk rocker boyfriend, Cory, who's a vulture, are both sitting on a branch. Lupe is fed up with her boyfriend because he doesn't seem to be hearing her when she's talking because of his loud munching through a bag of carrion jerky. Lupe waits for what her boyfriend should give up on - Her or his jerky.

Lupe is now seen crying and wailing on Ingrid's nose. Ingrid tries to explain that that vulture wasn't meant for her, but Lupe flies off, saying, "I'll never know love again!". Without looking, Lupe bumps into the lockers next to Adam, Jake and Orlando and falls to the ground, looking injured. Orlando looks at his reflection by a mirror in Jake's locker and says "Pretty bird". Lupe, thinking that he just said that to her, quickly starts to develop a crush on him!

At lunchtime, Lupe has set up a fancy table for her and her new "boyfriend". Everyone thinks that Adam has set Lupe up! So, Jake decides to open a little company and make everyone in school find their perfect match. But each couple are a prey to each other!

Later that day, Jake creates a love cruise on a river in the middle of the hallway! Everyone gets on board, including Principal Pixiefrog. Everyone is having fun, dancing to the music and relaxing. Lupe still believes that Orlando like-likes her by his wolf-whistle! Adam is very happy about this too.

But then we see Lupe fall to the floor, weakly saying, "Porque? Porque?" (Translated: "Why? Why?"). Adam then asks her if she's okay. Then Lupe responds, "Yes. Yes, I am not. Orlando LEFT ME!". Everyone is shocked! "My life as I know it IS OVER!", cries Lupe. Then Pixiefrog's rose that he's holding when he got on board quickly dries up for this "tragedy"!

When the ship crashes to the wall and sinks, everyone is out on time and they all think that this was just a big joking set up and all want a refund for Adam and Jake's couple company! To keep themselves out of trouble by trying to get proof, Adam then asks Lupe is she's sure that Orlando really left her. Lupe explains that Orlando has found another bird by his nice sayings, which she heard through the boys' restroom. Adam then explains to Lupe that it's not what she thinks. Adam opens the door a little, and we see Orlando looking at himself in the mirror again and says, "Pretty bird".

Lupe now (sadly) knows the truth - Orlando doesn't think that she's pretty. Adam tries to explain Orlando's personaity, but Lupe interrupts by suddenly getting obnoxious and upset. While the popular music from Psycho is heard in the background and Adam and Jake are scared of her, Lupe glows red, has fire on her head and back and yells, "He doesn't think I'm pretty?! You set me up with someone who doesn't think I'm...PRETTY?!". Then a voice says, "I think you're pretty, Lupe". Lupe's glow turns off and her flames die out. She then turns around and sees that it's her ex-boyfriend!

Lupe flies up to him and decides to be his girlfriend again. But still, Lupe again waits for what he can give up on - Her or his big bag of jerky. Adam and Jake are in a relief and hope that this is a day they'll never forget.

Notes:

  • Phineas is called the Finfather in The Spiffanos, which is a reference to the movie, The Godfather
  • The Spiffanos is a play of the title of the drama series, The Sopranos
  • the locker number mentioned in The Spiffanos is a possible refferance to the song 867-5309 by Tommy Tutone
  • The "Finfather" henchman riding his tricycle down the hall is reminiscent of Danny in The Shining (film).
  • Little Mermonkey is a play of the title, The Little Mermaid.

Notes:

  • In The Prince and the Pooper, at one point Jake clings to the gate screaming, "It's a madhouse! A madhouse!" This is a reference to Amazon Kevin, who also says it while being chased by CDMS' students.
  • The picture in The Prince and the Pooper might have been a picture of Anneliese van der Pol in 2002.
  • "The Prince and the Pooper" is obviously a homage to Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper.
  • When Princepal Pixefrog gives several refenaces to "the Raven".
  • Foreverville Farm makes a reference to "Neverland Ranch".
