This is a list of characters in the Mirmo! anime series. character names at language of English and Japanese (Mirmo Pong Pong Pong, Mirumo de Pon)

The series stars Mirmo (Mirumo or ミルモ in the original Japanese), a fairy, and Katie Minami (Kaede Minami in the original Japanese).

Characters in the series include Mirmo's human friend, Mirmo, a Muglox (or "love" fairy). Instead of granting Katie's wishes as the Muglox has been assigned, the Muglox continues to eat several chocolate food items and is constantly running away from Rima (Rirumu), a female Muglox owned by Dylan Yuki (Setsu Yuuki), a boy with whom Katie is infatuated. Mirmo's archrival Muglox, Yatch (Yashichi), owned by Azumi Hidaka, is a girl who is jealous of Katie. Mirmo also has a brother, Murumo (Murumo), who belongs to Kyle Matsutake (Kaoru Matsutake), a boy who eventually falls in love with Katie.

  • Kaede Minami (南楓 Minami Kaede) / Katie Minami - Seiyuu:Mai Nakahara

A cheerful and energetic girl who has a huge crush on Yuki and is Mirumo's partner. Although she's very sweet and helpful, she can get angry when she is tempted with. She is Hidaka's rival and are fighting over who should be with Yuki. During season one of the anime, she attended school with Mirmo in his realm, but she is very different in her fairy form compared to the normal citizens of the Fairy World and with fairy wings (in Mirmo's world, they use fans as wings), pink fairy outfit that you would usually see on a doll, and her instrument(a microphone, it was destroyed at the end of the first season) she might make some references to the magical girl genre name.

A cute Muglox who loves chocolate and is playful but at times, selfish and lazy. Although he is Rima's fiance, he refuses to marry her because he only likes her, but does not love her. He's rivals with Yashichi partners with Kaede. He uses a pair of maracas as his magic tools which might be very powerful, since he could turn Kaede into a fairy. He's the prince of the Muglox world and is Mulu's older brother.

  • Setsu Yuuki (結木摂 Yūki Setsu) / Dylan Yuki - Seiyuu:Yasutoshi Tokumoto

A smart and quiet bookworm, who Kaede and Azumi have crushes on and is Rirumu's partner. Although he is silent and cool most of the time, he's willing to help his friends, even if it embarrasses him. It is a bit mysterious who he liked first, Kaede or Azumi, since he went out with Kaede in the first season of the anime, but near the end of season four, when Haruka Moroshita, his old childhood friend proposed her strong love for him, he began to get generally close to her. He eventually realizes his true love is Kaede.

  • Rirumu (リルム) / Rima - Seiyuu: Mayuko Omimura

A pretty female Muglox who loves Mirumo and wants to marry him, much to his disappointment. She is still Mirmo's fiancee, and tries to get along with Mirumo on dates. At times, she may look very cute and innocent, but can turn into a scary fighter when she is angered (mostly by Mirumo). Rirumu is not really the champion when it comes to magic and household chores, and can make magical situations worse if she 'helps'. She uses a tamborine as her magic tool and is partners with Yuki. Her favorite dessert is cream puffs.

  • Azumi Hidaka (日高安純 Hidaka Azumi) (will be referred to as "Azumi" in the English anime instead as "Hidaka" as in the manga and Japanese anime) - Seiyuu: Hitomi

A brash and impatient girl who loves Yuki and is rivals with Katie. Sho often beats up Katie whenever she sees Katie with him, usually a funny sneak attack. She can be very vain at times, but helps her friends if she decides to. She's partners (or more like partner-in-crimes) with Yatch since Azumi wants Yuki and hates Katie and Yatch hates Mirumo, Katie's fairy friend. But most of the time, she leaves Yatch to do her household chores and treats him like a slave, but seems to have a soft spot for him.

  • Yashichi (ヤシチ) / Yatch - Seiyuu:Yukiji

Like Azumi, Yatch is brash and impatient With his henchmen, Sazo and Hanzo, he continues to annoy Mirmo to no end due to their long-lasting rivalry. Due to his ninja-like weapons and looks, he might be a ninja-type Muglox. Although unfriendly at times, he helps the others when it's up to him. He was an avid fan of the Warumo Gang and uses a triangle as his magic tool. He's also pretty fond of looking at people's underwear and drawing pictures of them (which he consider precious), much to Azumi's embarrassment. Yatch hates Azumi since she treats him like a slave, but knows that he cannot go on without her.

  • Kaoru Matsutake (松竹香 Matsutake Kaoru) / Kyle Matsutake - Seiyuu:Souichiro Hoshi

A cute and very rich boy who the girls at school look up to. Kaoru's playful attitude makes him friends with Kaede (the girl of his dreams) and Murumo. He would do anything (with his gigantic fortune, of course} to be Kaede's boyfriend, but her crush on Yuki blocks that, much to Kaoru's chagrin. Unlike any rich kid, Kaoru is not really the spoiled type. In fact, he has the personality of a normal mischievous boy.

An immature but charming little Muglox who loves marshmallows and uses his sweet little face to relax or manipulate others. He's greedy and selfish when it comes to marshmallows, and would do anything to make Kaoru give him a lot of marshmallows(even telling him about Kaede and Yuki's dates). But at times, he's kind and sweet to his friends and is willing to help them when they're in trouble. He's Mirmo's younger brother and uses a drum as his magic tool.

One of Yatch's lackies. He is dressed in purple. He has a crush on Yamane. His tool is a glockenspiel (apparently both he and Hanzo use xylophones).

One of Yatch's lackies. He is dressed in green. He seems to be the less intelligent of the three, but he also has a few unique skills. He once was able to speak a tongue twister spell three times in 10 seconds to free Rima from a curse cast by Akumi when others were unable to. His tool is a vibraphone.

  • Warumo Gang (ワルモ団 Warumo Dan)

The show's regular troublemakers. In the first season they plotted to take over the Muglox Kingdom; In the second season they became lackies for Darkman. In the third and fourth seasons they were constantly causing trouble for Mirumo and his friends, but their tricks always end up in failure due to their clumsiness. Their magical tools are shamisen.

A Ninja Muglox, the younger sister of Nezumi. She admires Yashichi and often joins him on his ninja training. Her human partner is Momo Umezono. In the second season she was temporary possessed by Daaku which forced Nezumi to join Daaku as Ratto in order to save her. Her tool is a bird whistle.

Yamane's human partner. Like Kaoru Matsutake she lives in a very wealthy family. She is in love with Kaoru and treats Kaede as a rival.

  • Papii (パピィ) Seiyuu: Kurumi Mamiya

A female Muglox who admires Murumo, although they always quarreled whenever they meet they in fact have a soft side for each other. In Charming she becomes the Muglox partner of Koichi Sumita. Her tool is a handbell.

Kaoru's butler. He is skilled in everything and will do anything to please his young master. He even helped his master write his entire summer assignment. He and Hoshino were long-time rivals but it turns out they each have a soft side for each other.

  • Hoshino (星野) Seiyuu: Yuko Tachibana

Momo's buttress. She is like the female equivalent of Hirai. She and Hirai were long-time rivals but it turns out they each have a soft side for each other.

  • Etsumi Kido (城戸悦美 Kido Etsumi) Seiyuu: Kumiko Higa

Kaede's best friend. Despite being best friends with Kaede she is entirely unaware of the existence of the Muglox world.

  • Mizuki Hidaka (日高瑞希 Hidaka Mizuki) Seiyuu: Kokoro Shindou

Azumi's younger brother. He only has a few appearances although they live in the same house. He likes spying on his sister to know what secrets she had. He also has a small team that believes in supernatural things and is often rivaling with another team that believes science is everything.

A mischievous Muglox who is always causing trouble for Mirumo and his friends during the second season. She admires Dark and was the first to join him. After Daaku was destroyed for good, she changed from her evil form, became Saori's muglox and left with her to go to Germany. Her magic tool is a sitar.

The main villain in the second season. His appearance differed in the manga and anime: The manga showed him as a Muglox, the anime showed him as a navy-skinned human. Despite being an evil villain he still shows a few goofy sides of him. Long ago, he tried to dominate the Muglox world, but was defeated by the Gaias and sealed away. He recruited Akumi and the Warumo Gang to help him break free fom his seal and defeat Mirumo and his friends. He was on the verge of breaking free when Mirumo and his team entered his world and defeated him. He was sealed away again by the Gaias but it was later revealed that they only sealed part of him. He re-recruited Akumi and the Warumo Gang again, along with a new agent Ratto to continue causing trouble for Mirumo and his friends while he approached Saori Eguchi in the guise of Takumi Kiryuu, Saori's old music teacher. He is destroyed for good when Saori's powers upgraded.

  • Nezumi a.k.a. Rat (ネズミ / ラット Ratto) Seiyuu: Rikako Aikawa

A ninja Muglox who is the older brother of Yamane. On learning that Yamane had been possessed by Darkman, he reluctantly joined him under the name 'Rat' in order to save his sister.

  • Saori Eguchi (江口沙織, Eguchi Saori) Seiyuu: Risa Hayamizu

A quiet girl who is a professional flute player. Although she is a generally silent beauty and is a bookworm like Dylan, she has one goofy point; she lets out a huge sneeze whenever someone mentions a thing about love around her. She was able to see mugloxes because she was under the control of Darkman, which during the whole season he uses her powers to spread his evil into the human world. She eventually destroys Darkman for good when her powers upgraded. At the end of the season she left Japan to study music in Germany.

He was Saori's music teacher who taught her to play the flute as a child. He is very kind but is also a little clumzy. He appeared as the new teacher and helped Saori regain confidence in her flute skills. However, during the final battle with Darkman the main characters find out that Kiryuu is Darkman in disguise. The real Takumi Kiryuu appeared shortly after Darkman's demise. His appearance is different from Darkman's disguise as he now looks older and has grown a beard. He took Saori to Germany to study music at the end of the season.

An octopusrobot in the Crystal Land. He went to the human world to collect the 7 sacred crystals in order to save his girlfriend. At the end of the season he became the king of the crystal land.

A squid robot in the crystal land. He was rivals with Tako at first. At the end of the season he became the royal advisor of the crystal land.

He is a muglox that accidentally died into a spirit halfway. He loves to play with Mirmo who is scared of him. In the anime his partner is Haruka Morishita. His tool is a ukelele.

  • Haruka Morishita (森下はるか Morishita Haruka) Seiyuu:Satsuki Yukino

A childhood friend of Dylan. Her ambition is a manga artist. She is very kind but is even scarier than Azumi when angry - usually with a smile that gives people a terrifying feeling(even Dylan has said that as a child, his worst fear was Haruka getting angry). In the anime she is Panta's human partner and still had feelings for Dylan and hoped that he would still love her. This caused Dylan to break up with Katie for a while. When Haruka realized that Dylan's true love was Katie, she finally gave up on him. At the end of the series she is dating Koichi Sumita.

  • Koichi Sumita (住田光一 Sumita Kōichi) Seiyuu: Tetsuharu Ohta

A very shy person who used to Katie since the beginning of the season. He is good at sports and has two younger twin sisters. Like Mirumo he also likes chocolate sweets. At the end of the season he is dating Haruka Moroshita.

The king of the Muglox world and father of Mirumo and Murumo. He has the same personalities of his son Mirumo and is often quarreling with him. His magic tool is a large drum. His favorite dessert is pudding.

  • Saria (サリア) / Sara Seiyuu:Izumi Kikuchi

The queen of the Muglox world and mother of Mirumo and Murumo. She loves her husband dearly. She is always seen with a smile and is very kind to others. But whenever she gets angry, she unleases an energy so great that it could almost destroy the world. Her magic tool is a harp.

Grandmother of Mirumo and Murumo, she has a stubborn personality and takes a dislike towards humans. Her magic tool is an erhu.

  • Daijin (大臣) Seiyuu:Shouto Kashii

The royal advisor. He had been serving in the palace since King Marumo's birth and is loyal to him.

  • Genba (ゲンパ) Seiyuu:Toshitaka Hirano

The royal doctor of the muglox world.

  • Teacher (ティーチャ Tīcha) Seiyuu:Kazuko Yanaga

The royal tutor of the Muglox world. She comes from a long family line of royal tutors, as her father had tutored King Maurmo before. She has her way of dealing with troublesome students. Once, when Mirumo wrecked havoc on the muglox kingdom, King Maurmo sent her to tutor him.

Mirmo's classmate, always being teased by his friends who calls him uncool. He has a kind elder sister. His tool is a concertina.

  • Bike (ビケー Bikē) Seiyuu:Izumi Kikuchi

Mirmo's classmate, the beautiful guy in the muglox world. He has a crush on Anna. His magic tool is a cow horn.

Mirmo's classmate, often thinks negatively. His tool is a harmonica.

  • Anna (アンナ An'na) Seiyuu:Chigusa Ikeda

Mirmo's classmate, she is the smartest pupil of the fairy school. Has a crush on Bike. Her tool is an electric guitar.

Mirmo's classmate, she has a heart over her mouth. Her tools are castanets.

Mirmo's classmate, he is smart like Anna. His tool is a toy piano that sounds like a grand piano and is the same size like him.

Mirmo's classmate, he is very quiet. His tool is a ocarina.

The assistant owner of Mimomo Shop. She is a bit clumzy but good at making sweets. She took charge of the store during Mimomo's absence, and continued working in the store after Mimomo's return.

The vast majority of the Korea and Japan character was changed in the anime series. Where there are all other different names, the first one only total characters appeared in the Mirumo de Pon from TV Tokyo and Shogakukan. and Mirmo Pong Pong Pong from SBS (Korea) and Daiwon C&A Holdings.
