[edit] Recurring Villains
[edit] Joka
Joka made his debut in Door To Phantomile, as servant to the evil villain Ghadius, who sought to turn the world into a realm of darkness. He is defeated and ultimately killed by Klonoa. He returns in Klonoa Heroes (due to the game being set in an alternate universe), this time as sidekick to the main villain Janga.
He also appears as a playable character in Klonoa Beach Volleyball and as a contestant in Klonoa 2 Dream Champ Tournament, and is a recurring villain in Namco x Capcom.
[edit] Nahatomb
Also known as the Nightmare Crystal Nahatomb, he is the final boss in Door to Phantomile. He is the ultimate nightmare unleashed by Ghadius. He is easily ten times taller than the other characters, and tries to eat Klonoa. He is defeated when he is hit by 5 simultaneous cannon blasts.
In Klonoa Heroes, Nahatomb is the last boss in World 8: Darkness of Nahato (Nahato no Yami), with three different forms for the heroes to defeat. As mentioned by the Moon People, Nahatomb was originally the hero of the Moon. He eventually turned to darkness and was sealed away by the moon people, until Garlen learnt the Star Medals had been made by Nahatomb to separate all into "heroes" and "hero-followers". Garlen's plan to use Nahatomb as a tool for world domination lead to him being devouring by the latter's resurrection. He was eventually defeated by the three heroes.
He apears as a human-sized playable character in Klonoa Beach Volleyball.
