[edit] DenLiner passengers
Kamen Rider Den-O fights against the Imagin with the aid of his partners. Most of them reside within the train known as the DenLiner, a train that traverses time and space.
[edit] Ryotaro Nogami
Ryotaro Nogami (野上良太郎 Nogami Ryōtarō?) is a very unlucky young man. When he first appears, he managed to lodge himself on his bike in a tall tree through a streak of bad luck. He also keeps his name tag in his wallet so it can be returned to him when it is stolen. He is the one who discovered the Rider Pass, and after persuasion from Hana, decided to use it for the betterment of mankind as the eponymous Kamen Rider Den-O. He is commonly referred to as a Singularity Point, who can consciously overpower an Imagin who possesses him. 18 years old.
[edit] Hana
Hana (ハナ Hana?) is the first DenLiner passenger Ryotaro met and is the one who convinced Ryotaro to become a Kamen Rider. She explained to him the uses of the Rider Tickets and the Rider Pass. She said that she fights so that she can protect and preserve the flow of time from the Imagin, and she made a contract with the DenLiner's Owner to do so. She originates from a future destroyed by Imagin chaos, thus filling her with malice and spite towards them. Her powerful and sharp personality make her capable of subduing Ryotaro's Imagin when they get out of line. Ironically, Hana is the only woman Urataros is unable to woo. 19 years old.
[edit] Naomi
Naomi (ナオミ Naomi?) is part-time member of the DenLiner crew and serves as the caretaker and maid on the train, taking care of daily maintenance. Despite her efforts, she usually serves poorly made coffee, though the Imagin seem to enjoy it. She is extremely hyper and does not get surprised easily, sticking to her belief of making only coffee. Age unknown.
[edit] Owner
Owner (オーナー Ōnā?) is Hana's contractor and is the DenLiner's owner. He states that only those with a "Pass" are able to ride the DenLiner and, with it, transcend time itself. Also, as DenLiner's owner, he cannot stand fighting in his train and possesses denial of passage tickets, which are able to leave unwanted passengers stranded in the middle of time. He has great knowledge of how time progresses and points out that sometimes the most minor of changes will not effect the future. He enjoys eating rice that has a flag placed in the middle of it. His aim is to leave the smallest number of rice grains without knocking the flag over. Age unknown.
[edit] Mysterious Man
A Mysterious Man (謎の男 Nazo no Otoko?) appears in the past when an Imagin goes into a person's timeline. He carries a railway watch with him always.
[edit] Milk Dipper regulars
The Milk Dipper is a library/café run by Ryotaro and his older sister Airi.
[edit] Airi Nogami
Airi Nogami (野上愛理 Nogami Airi?) is Nogami's elder sister and is managing the Milk Dipper. Most of the customers at the Milk Dipper are only there because they are infatuated with Airi, but she shows no awareness of this, putting the gifts they leave behind in a lost and found spot in the café. She is constantly trying to help Ryotaro, in an attempt to find his lucky star. Also, it seems there is a event in the past she has trouble remembering which causes her great sadness which is related to the telescope that sits in the middle of the Milk Dipper. 22 years old.
[edit] Seigi Ozaki
Seigi Ozaki (尾崎正義 Ozaki Seigi?) is the journalist who is the chief editor of a short-lived magazine where Ryotaro worked. He is a regular customer at Milk Dipper and is trying to court Airi. Ozaki also has a habit of flirting with other women, despite the fact that he is trying to woo Airi. Age unknown.
[edit] Issē Miura
Issē Miura (三浦イッセー Miura Issē?) is self-styled super counselor. He is a regular customer at Milk Dipper and is also trying to court Airi, but he is more introverted than Seigi when it comes to this. Age unknown.
[edit] Imagin
- See also: Imagin
Imagin (イマジン Imajin?) are the creatures that have arrived from the future to conquer the past. Some are evil and fight to destroy humanity while others have justice within in them and lend their power to Den-O in order to fight. Imagin listed here are ones that serve major purposes in the story, being more than a monster of the week. The Imagin who have a contract with Ryotaro are double edged, providing Den-O with his power-ups and burdening Ryotaro with multiple personalities.
[edit] Momotaros
Momotaros (モモタロス Momotarosu?) is the first Imagin that gives Ryotaro his power, which allows for the Sword Form transformation. Momotaros blamed Ryotaro for his ogre-like form, though it matches his personality, best described as "hot blooded", arrogant, and comedic, serving as a foil to Ryotaro's own shy and cowardly personality. In fact, Momotaros was more interested in fighting than carrying out the Imagin goal, which now escapes his memory. Unfortunately, he is constantly beaten by Hana when he gets Ryotaro into trouble. When he possesses Ryotaro, declaring the words "I have arrived", Momotaros' own personality takes over, giving Ryotaro power, confidence, and a bit of his eagerness for a good fight. His eagerness is shown in battle, where he always declares the words, "When I start, it's already the climax!" Momotaros is also somewhat selfish, initially fighting alongside Ryotaro because if he died then Momotaros would also disappear. Though he unknowingly placed Ryotaro in unneeded danger to suit his fancy, Momotaros eventually learned to respect him. He cannot swim, and if he eats red peppers, he will fall into a deep sleep.
[edit] Urataros
Urataros (ウラタロス Uratarosu?) is the second Imagin that gives Ryotaro his power, which allows for the Rod Form transformation. The form given to him by Ryotaro is turtle-like in appearance. Furthermore, Urataros was well-aware of Ryotaro being a Singularity Point, making his contract to him on purpose to evade the loneliness from being outside time. When he possesses Ryotaro, he usually states the words "Hey, why don't you let me string you along?" He's also aware of the evil Imagin planning to destroy time, but is simply afraid of committing it. Despite his cool exterior, there's indication that he's somewhat of a coward and lies just for self preservation. Urataros is a casanova with a very convincing personality, owning the ability to convince almost anyone by speaking to them, stating that each one his words contains a hundred hooks, a thousand fabrications, and 10,000 lies. It's due to this philosophy that no one but Ryotaro trusts him. At first, he and Momotaros fought each other due to clashing personalities, creating havoc upon the DenLiner and Ryotaro's body until the Owner had Ryotaro choose to discard Urataros or share his Rider Pass with him. Urataros was shocked when Ryotaro chose to keep him, with Ryotaro saying that he had a good heart, deep down on the inside feeling that even though lying is wrong, if one lies for another, it indicates they have a good heart. While Momotaros got Ryotaro in trouble through reckless methods, Urataros puts Ryotaro in conflicting situations when he goes around wooing multiple women.
[edit] Kintaros
Kintaros (キンタロス Kintarosu?) is the third Imagin that gives Ryotaro his power, which allows for the Ax Form transformation. He has a Sumo wrestler-like personality and often mediates to find his power. He speaks in Kansai-ben, a Japanese dialect of the Kansai region. His natural weapon as an Imagin is a giant ax. At first, he was dependent on a retired karateka named Masaru Honjō (本条勝 Honjō Masaru?). Kintaros is a strong Imagin who constantly seeks for opponent stronger than him. He has a noble heart and cared greatly about his first host, Masaru. However, he is sometimes unable to control his own strength resulting in accidentally destroying things, which he attempts to fix afterwards.
[edit] Ryūtaros
Ryūtaros (リュウタロス Ryūtarosu?) is the fourth Imagin that gives Ryotaro his power, which allows for Gun Form transformation.
